DLA waiting times continue from thread 55

I know this feeling to well! They decided to not adjust the award even tho ECHP and specialist placement. It’s a joke! But people with no evidence are awarded highest. How is this even possible? I put it down to the wording on the form. Please put in MR. It’s clearly not the correct outcome. Xx

I don't think I can stomach a 25 week wait lol. I was bad enough with the 19 weeks 😂

I know I totally understand this but i genuinely feel a second opinion is worth your wait for your little one anyone with a ehcp is in need of extra care they certainly don’t give them out lightly maybe sit a few days and decide but I really would fight for this one xxx

Yeah, she's had DLA before as a young child (no evidence given). Not been in receipt for a few years so they must have decided she has got better now 😂

Did you ring or receive a txt / letter? My scan date is 12/07 it’s with DM but that’s all was told xx

I just rang in to follow it up. Was told it was with a DM on Wednesday. Decision was made yesterday and they told me the outcome and notes over the phone

I just spoke to DLA as I am sending in evidence for my MR gosh the lady sounded so robotic I thought she was AI 🤣 xx

I'm so sorry they have decided this! I get the stress of waiting and not wanting to go through even more of it but maybe after a couple of days you'll think differently and complete the MR...

I am not holding out a lot of hope and honestly think I will get the same response. My daughter is waiting for the autism assessment and has masked very well at school for yrs so I had no real supporting evidence to send - just my account of things.

Decision made this morning… MR won, we are now on HRC!!! Scan date 11/07

I sent a whole load of extra evidence 1st class on the 12th , well my husband did it but didn’t get it tracked
DLA has said they haven’t received it and not showing on their system should I consider this as lost or is there a back log for post ?

Do I wait until I’ve received my letter or had my back payment to update my universal credit? Or do I do it now?

If you have the correct start date then yes tell them now. Don’t forget to put in the journal about back payment as it won’t be done automatically x

I’m very sorry. Will you do an MR? I don’t understand how decisions are made. An EHCP is one of the documents that they should be considering.

Going to test my luck and try before closing. Is it 5 or 6 it closes? I know was only told this morning was with dm but they wouldn’t tell me when it went to them. Could have been few days ago, yesterday or today xxx

Yes you can. When you get through to a call handler you can ask to speak to a DM. They will ask you what it’s about. I wanted to check if my scan date had been amended

@Kc1999x yet they were telling me just today they were doing SD 01/07 😂 the DM said my SD has been amended and an alert placed on my claim but can I trust them 🤷‍♀️

First time I called the lady couldn’t hear me so I called back x
