DLA waiting times continue from thread 55

You could try to work it out going on payment and how
many weeks you waited xx

Sd 29/7 rang yesterday and she said “can’t tell you if with a DM. Only if a decision has been made or not” 17 weeks yesterday! This wait is driving me mad wondering if should ring back today to see if it gone to a dm? As I’ve seen post where they have said

But then other people do get told, it really does frustrate me lol. They know where you paper work is as it gets assigned then the system updates.

Yeah we are all getting told different things it’s really annoying I’ve only rang twice and don’t think I’ll be phoning again now can’t be bothered with the 40min wait to be read the same speel of false hope 🤣

It does me! Being so close to Christmas! I’m watching this thread it bugs me to see people awarded after me and some still waiting! My friend applied a week before me and got awarded in October yet we still waiting they need to get a new line 😂

I can’t find the date I rang up tho, isn’t it backdated from when you requested the forms on phone?

Yeah I put off applying for dla, then I looked at the wait times online and it said 8-12 weeks for a decision. I thought my boy deserves this and I need to just bite the bullet and fill in the forms.
well i did it thinking well it will be done before Xmas and i can give him a good xmas with things he wants and needs, well my scan date 28/08. I won’t here before Xmas now. It’s so frustrating x

Yes, just try to divide it into weeks and how long you waited, say you waited 18 weeks divide it by that then look at dla care and mobility and see what matches. The left over will be the weeks extra. They will match down to the penny.

I know I said I wasn’t going to call again till Friday but I did this morning😂

the lady told me it’s 25-30 weeks now!? Surely not🥲 I asked why the letters say 15 weeks and she said they’ve asked them to change them and give more accurate times. I also asked how it’s now gone up to 30 weeks and she said because of the back log.

some people have had decisions from 17-18 weeks how is she telling me 30 weeks now!

its ridiculous and so draining. If don’t have a decision by 20 weeks I’m writing in a complaint.

I honestly think it’s because more and more people are ringing so it’s best for them to say nope 30 weeks now to stop people keep ringing even tho it’s what they paid to do. Xx

How can we have gone from 20 weeks to get to dm yesterday to 30 weeks today!! Surely not how they can justify this is ridiculous

When I rung a few weeks ago and said how can you justify 20 weeks when the letter says 15 but the government website says 12 week, they said reason we have had 80thousand applications already this year, and can’t cope with work load.

Rang up was told will be with DM this week and they have got 2 weeks to make a decision.

I've seen nc after me being awarded it's strange the way it works.

Ah it’s just frustrating though. All they need to do is be honest from the start😖 x

When I seen you had posted I was hoping it was positive it’s ridiculous how they keep doing this yet on Facebook there is dates from 27/07 been done? Makes absolutely no sense but hey let’s hope for a good week 🤞🤞 xxx

I can’t take it anymore I’m not phoning today because I think they will end up putting phone down on me they make me so mad moving the goal post week in week out 🤣🤣 if they had sent letters stating the 20 week speel I wouldn’t even be bothered it’s the lies they spill I’m hoping for Friday but let’s see x

Just rung got scan date of 19th July new claim its with decision maker now so cross fingers xx
