DLA waiting times continue from thread 55

Yes we’ve had a pretty horrific weekend too, I can’t take them both out on my own safely so we’re just stuck in the house all weekend which is awful! Have some lovely new bruises to add to my collection :(

Oh, I was hoping it had been a while and they’d made a decision for you over the last few days. Fingers crossed there was a decision over the weekend for you.

Hi Everyone I've been following this thread for a while now. SD 19/07. New claim. My 14 year old Daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the beginning of this year and has been having chemotherapy. I'm really hoping to hear something soon.

Still no decision so been transferred to another department so hopefully they will push it through for a decision 😭 I honestly hope no one else has to go through this as it's horrible and wouldn't wish it on anyone. Although I guess I know the end should be in sight now 🤞

Least you no it’s not a decline as you see so many dates age yours, try to take that as a positive. Good luck hun xx

Thi happend to me last week now on 21 weeks and has been esculated twice ! Was told defo by today .... we will see. My claim deadline was 20 weeks aswell x

I would call as surely this would count as special circumstances?

They have sent a report to the school, who are completely useless, so now I'm chasing up with that, however with how appalling the school are I would assume it'll end up as a decline as he masks at school

@MrsW12 this happened to you as well didn’t it? @PollyH3 I don’t know why they leave it until the very end to ask for a report from the school I would imagine this will happen to me too!

I did call, they said I need to wait until the 6th of December. It's so frustrating

Rang this morning! No decision! I asked if it was with DM. She told me she couldn’t tell me that as it doesn’t show all she can tell me is if there is a decision or not!!

I was told that date wait till the 6th Dec all the time since end of Oct its pathetic now im not being funny if they need more evidence they should tell you sooner I've asked them loads of times do they need more and they reckon no watch now they will ring me this week for more evidence takes the pee they have had 18 weeks to tell me this

I would’ve called to see if they’ve got additional evidence and see if there’s any update but I’ve got a meeting with sons school

I've just called and completely broke down and sobbed to the poor lady who answers the phone for the sen department at the school. She hasn't seen the letter from dla so is going to try and call round and see if anything has been received yet and get my sons key worker to call me but atm they are off sick (and seems long term to me). I'm hoping he old senco can do the form as she was so lovely and it annoys me that they've changed it. So yes looks like another long wait and no answer anytime soon. Feel completely deflated. They sent the report to school last Tuesday. I called 3 times last week after Tuesday and said "is it waiting for anything" and they said no they've got everything they need. If they'd told me last week I could have been chasing it up with the school.

Oh no @PollyH3 😫. Yes it did. I was lucky that the school let me post it myself with special delivery. I really feel for you. It was horrible. I hope she school step up for you x

I’m just waiting now scan date 12th of July I’m probably going to get told off for phoning again as I only called last Thursday 😂

Once the school find where it is I'm going to ask them if I can post it special delivery myself. All I can do is ask. He masks enough at school to sit just under the radar and then at home he explodes. I couldn't talk for crying, the poor woman was so lovely though, even she said obviously I don't want the report being filled in saying he's fine when he obviously isn't and it's masking. Half of me wants to just give up now 😭

Decision made Friday for 12/7, she couldn’t put me through, she tried so calling back now, feel even more sick now!

1st July MR - Phoned this morning and a decision was made 21st November and its positive for us, backpayment should be received the next few days.

I’m the same scan date as you and they told me 2 weeks ago to not call untill 13th December don’t think they know what to say past this point are you phoning today?
