@Kc1999x yet they were telling me just today they were doing SD 01/07 😂 the DM said my SD has been amended and an alert placed on my claim but can I trust them 🤷‍♀️

Spoke to them and I asked why people after my date have been sorted already. She didn’t have an answer that most are taking 25weeeks. Still in the holding queue

Thanks everyone. I don't really have much faith in the system, so I am unsure whether or not I will put in for a MR. At least I can stop stressing over it now, it's done I guess. Good luck to everyone waiting 😊

You’ve got nothing to lose by putting in for MR. EHCP are for their needs in school so that’s not a good enough reason for them to have declined.

Just the rehearsed speech. Yours can’t be much longer. Ours isn’t allocated which is understandable when they have July date order mixed up. 11/07 23/07 and probably more

MrsW12 · 22/11/2024 14:48

Anyone that’s done a renewal, is the form the same as a new claim?

I just spoke to DLA as I am sending in evidence for my MR gosh the lady sounded so robotic I thought she was AI 🤣 xx

First one I spoke to just kept saying hello over and over until I cut the call and called back 😂

Yes, it’s exactly the same.

im Only a week off of the 11/07 so ima try call next Friday. They’ve got all dates mixed up by the sounds of it😂

Jumbocoffeemorning · 22/11/2024 15:23

Just posting to keep track of the threads!

New claim, SD 10/09.

Recently done renewal applying for mobility for the first time - SD 6/8 HRC awarded again and LRM on 7/11.

You might well get an answer. If they went through 10 days worth of claims within around 2 hours 😂

4 weeks off for me. I’m not calling, I’m as fed up of them as they are of me 😭😂

This is what they said to me recently but then today when I called they said from the first week of December they have an additional 5 weeks to make a decision 😭💀

zoeybrooks45 · 22/11/2024 16:00

I used to enjoy weekends and now I loathe them. Hopefully we have another positive week xx

gemr93x · 22/11/2024 16:09

Eee they’re ridiculous on the phone aren’t they. Just called up to check on mine as my other twin received his award after 18 weeks 5 days (both have same disabilities but sent the forms off for one a week later). SDs were 5/7 and 17/7. He gave me the 20 weeks script and I explained I’m only checking due to my other child being awarded 18w5d and it’s around that now for the second claim. He said oh really wow that’s lucky not sure how that is, we’ve never ever had one awarded quicker than 20 weeks lately. Beg to differ going off these threads and fb 🙄

zoeybrooks45 · 22/11/2024 16:13

It’s the way they casually say you’re only on 16/18 weeks that’s literally 4 MONTHS. No sympathy and no effort to correct letter.

Thecrazyone94 · 22/11/2024 16:15

Decision made yesterday from Mrc to Hrc!! Finally, the wait is over!!
good luck everyone!

MissKaya · 22/11/2024 16:21

Just posting again to keep in the loop and share my journey so far.

My SD is 27th July, so I still have a few weeks before I start calling up.

I sent in additional information a few weeks ago by recorded delivery. I saw the photo taken at point of delivery the day after posting, and gave it an extra 2wks before calling and confirming it was on their system. When I called, at 9am on the dot, I got through super quickly, I spoke to a lovely lady who confirmed my additional info had been received, and she then offered (without prompting or asking) to give me a date to get back in touch by if I hadn't heard anything. She said 12th December, which is 2days before 20wks, not sure if this is because my SD is a Saturday.

My daughter is 3 in January, presenting with GDD and autism, with her understanding, communication and language currently at 6-12months. Evidence given from HV, SENDSAS, Paediatrician and S&L.

Sorry for the essay - Hoping for positive outcomes for you all ✨️

Ali200 · 22/11/2024 16:45

Just rung them scan date 19th July asked them if its upto 25 weeks now and he said no I should hear by 6th Dec we will soon see

PollyH3 · 22/11/2024 16:48

@Carson2504 yes new claim. They wouldn't say. I wouldn't believe them anyway. I'm hoping that worst case scenario I'll have an answer by Tuesday after @JY979797 got escalated and an answer the next day

I was the same SD as you. I ended up sending my renewal forms in too, but this originally was a COC. The day after the woman emailed the manager, they had made a decision. I would say that if you don’t have a decision on Monday, ask to be put through to someone else and get it escalated!

A fingers crossed for you. I had a phone call this morning, then said was with DM. I rang again around 2pm and said it’s with DM but no decision as of yet and I’ll hear within next week. They also make decisions on weekends but obv we can’t ring to check. Xx
