MR SD 13/06 Called again today. No decision has been made and it’s not assigned to a DM. Theyve even said i can send in extra evidence so no hope for me this week. Ill call again next thursday when im 22 weeks, although i might call on friday to see if they got the evidence and ask for an update 🤪😂 I was okay until i hit 20 weeks now i just want an outcome.

Sending lots of love. MR is extremely tiring and exhausting. I can relate. I hope you hear your outcome soon and recieve positive news for your child. Please keep us updated. xx

I'm the day before you for my mandatory reconsideration and always told when I ring, that they have til 4th December to make a decision. I feel like I am at the point that I just want the decision either way to make the next steps. The wait is so bad. I will be ringing Monday, but not holding much hope to be any further forward.
I hope you get a better response Thursday x

How is it some people have been awarded with SD from July and Aug (according to FB page) and June dates are still awaiting to hear??

I agree. It's just not fair and it's so disheartening. Surely they should be working through the claims in order.

NC scan date 19/07 tempted to call today if
people are been awarded on the Facebook page and try my luck I know what the answer will be but never know! Eldest son awaiting adhd assessment.

Hey all! I’m 3/7 scan date so 18 weeks today.

Has anyone ever sent in further statements just from themselves. My son now has started a once a week pastoral self esteem building session at school, now enters through an alternative door into school as he was struggling in the mornings with the crowds and we have also had a TAF meeting with early help (needed to be done before we could send his referral of) which concluded that I am doing everything necessary to help my son and that the next step would be referral. I have no proof of any of this at the moment and highly doubt I will get any of this in the next couple of weeks so tempted to write it all down in a statement to send in next day but feel it won’t hold much weight 🤦🏻‍♀️ opinions please 🙏

good luck to everyone still waiting! And congratulations to all those being awarded!

I have previously sent off statements that I wrote with my first claim. I don’t know if they read it, it was one A4 side. You can always call and say it over the phone as they can add it that way.

I saw an article stating PIP has a 6 month backlog just to be assessed. No light on DLA, guess they are all the same. Half a year? They are seriously getting more slower as the year goes. When I claimed 2023 I heard back in 17 weeks on the dot.

My daughters pip didn't take long at all
Sent the forms in February, then in April I received a call form them to ask 3 questions and by end of May her payments had started.

Thankyou, I may just do it anyway it can’t cause any harm and they are welcome to contact the school to verify if needed but just don’t want it to hold up the claim. Iv heard that calling up and adding it can be risky as it may not be added or they expect back up from professionals etc to confirm what you’re saying is correct. If I could get something from the school I would but they have already done a statement and this is extra that’s been done since then.

I am 12/07. I rang once last week and wasn’t very helpful. Just said they received it but couldn’t tell me if it was close to being looked at or with a DM etc.

Literally 20 weeks today for me and I sent in my sons ehcp yesterday as they never had a copy as it was done way after I'd sent in forms, anyway it got there today as I've checked on tracking, I might ring tomorrow and see if it was put into his claim and I'm gonna ask for it to be escalated to be looked at, but what that means exactly I've no idea as you're on week 21 and still nothing 😂😳 x

You’ve convinced me to call again today and see if they’ve scanned mine on, I don’t take much convincing as you can see 😅
My original scan date is 06/06, so I am getting very impatient now!
