Im 1/7 also please keep us updated

Called at 9am on the dot straight through I was basically told not to call again till the 18th. I’ll call again next Monday anyway. She wouldn’t tell me if it was with a decision maker or not just said it’s on the system.

Thankyou I will do, I’ve messaged school and I’ve left NDP a voicemail in hopes they will ring back, honestly my child’s school don’t communicate with me enough over what there doing I only found out recently that she spends most morning with another child on a tablet. It’s ridiculous. Good luck I hope you have a positive outcome

Oh no. That’s rubbish. Our teacher has told me since week 1 that she has noticed stuff and has some concerns. I felt the need to apologise after being told that after a couple of days of starting in reception! I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.

Kel3270 · 04/11/2024 10:01

Anybody else hate the way the hold message seems to cut off before she finishes speaking...as if she's meant to say put you through to someone as soon as possible but it gets cut off at put you through, or is that just my brain 🤣🤣

Jumbocoffeemorning · 04/11/2024 10:02

Hello! Two claims here waiting!

  1. Renewal for my DD, SD 06/08. Current claim ends 28/11 so fingers crossed for before then!
  2. New claim for DS, SD 10/09.
ThisHangryOpalEagle · 04/11/2024 10:04

Scan date 12/07 new claim. 16+3 weeks today and I just can't wait any longer, this has been horrendous. Only evidence was the autism diagnostic report from the private clinic. I don't know if they write to every school for evidence, but my son's school consider him to be absolutely fine because he masks. They never see any issues and they say he's fine, works well, has friends, is polite etc. He's the complete opposite at home. I'm worried they're going to ruin this for him.

Just called, took an hour and 3 attempts to get through but still no update 😢

Mygirlsandme3 · 04/11/2024 10:08

Not sure if this is helpful for anyone, finally caved an contacted today. SD 26/06 for a new claim.
the man was lovely, he said they take out bank holidays on time frame so I’m just looking at around 19 weeks, it’s with the DM and I should here within the next week or so. He also said he was going to make a note that I’ve been in contact,

good luck to you all x

My son got awarded HRC in 2023 without any diagnosis or any input from school. As long as you show on your forms that your child requires more support than that of a child the same age then all should be fine. ☺️

If it’s the same guy I’m thinking of, he’s absolutely lovely but says all the right things to keep you happy. I’ve experienced this recently!

Hi, my son is on the pathway too but due to waiting lists not had anything further yet. I sent the acceptance from camhs stating that a referral had been made for an adhd/asd assessment and that they had accepted the referral, then I sent all the paperwork school had done including views of a few different staff members and the senco, a sensory profile they’d done for him, the ed psych reports. I was worried whether this would be ok but I have since sent further bits in as I have got them - a letter from paediatrics that
summarised an appointment we’d had but described how his behaviour had been which backed up what I’d described in the form and I also sent the request for an EHC needs assessment that school had done and the acceptance of this from my council to assess and proceed with an EHCP. It’s hard to know what to send when you are on waiting lists so fingers crossed they have enough with what is send 🤞🏻

thats Amazing you’ve definitely sent enough to support, I just got a phone call off NDP and they’ve emailed me there letter off acceptance onto pathway, im just waiting on senco to send her referral with the supporting evidence on it from her self and teachers if they still have them they should shouldn’t they I hope anyways. And then that’s all I have I asked the lady as it’s been a year now and we should be moving on to seeing the paediatrician by end January she said it’s just all a huge wait and as my girl gets older her masking in public is like nothing I’ve seen but still she appears rigid while masking i just want her to be given what she deserves

I am sure school will still have all the bits they sent with the referral as I think they seem to save a lot of stuff electronically now too don’t they so should be some copies somewhere 🤞🏻 fingers crossed for you and that you soon get somewhere with progressing on the neurodiversity assessments. It feels a huge wait with everything!
