I just called to ask if it was normal for the school not to receive the forms a week after they’ve been sent and they really don’t care about how stressful it is 😔. 20 weeks on Friday.

Edited

Dwp don't rush with their post it's always sent second class and not even recorded, I think it's a joke especially when they could literally pick up the phone and call the school. You know the whole reason we put their contact details in there fgs 🙄 x

MrsB941 · 05/11/2024 09:33

Is it just me left with SD 25/6 ? This wait is awful 😖 I don't wanna call again as I called yesterday 😫

Have you give the school a kick up the ass? X

They haven’t received it yet. They are keeping me updated on when it will arrive.

MrsW12 · 05/11/2024 09:49

Kel3270 · 05/11/2024 09:24

Maybe get the school to write a report and send it over next day delivery incase it doesn't arrive in time etc x

I don’t know if the DWP ask specific questions though. They school are being really supportive though. They have noticed things but it’s worse at home. I hope that doesn’t affect my claim.

I can't believe I'm writing this really thought it wasn't going to happen. Rang again at 9 as soon as they opened and a decision had just been made. Received the text as I got off the phone we've been awarded middle rate care until 2029 I believe I couldn't really comprehend much of what she was saying I was in so much shock. Scan date was 25/06

BadgerHawk · 05/11/2024 10:02

SD 27/06. I just called for an update (because I’m annoying like that) and I think they now have a script to follow as could tell he was reading aloud the 20 week spiel 🤣 gotta laugh or I’ll cry.

Ash900 · 05/11/2024 12:06

Just got the standard generated 2nd letter from them saying sorry it’s taking a while and they’re still looking etc. I know it’s a standard letter but does anyone know if there is any patterns forming when people receive the 2nd letter to a decision?
