Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

Just called sd 12 July coc they said I still have a couple of weeks for a decision to be made

So I rang again after finding my reference number new claim sc 19/07 and they said I’ve to wait untill 13th December and should have an answer definitely by then

I’m not believing a word they say no more 😂! Told me Monday I would have a decision, then told me today, rang up … still not even with decision maker this is so draining 😖x

It’s absolutely ridiculous how they just keep moving the goal posts! I suggested on the phone they update the letters they send out at around 8 weeks because your giving people false hope and false information he said he would make a note of the recommendation 🤣🤣 xx fingers crossed for you

I'm considering phoning them today. I managed to not call them yesterday. Scan date is 12/07 but been told twice it's marked as urgent and then once that they cannot mark new claims as urgent. Sick of being told something different every time. I don't want to pester them but it's getting beyond a joke now all their false promises.

I’m also 12.07. Rang once and was told not to ring back til 29th nov as that be 20 weeks x

I haven’t bothered to call today. S/D 06/08 MR so no poin. I am however chasing school to send me an email detailing how my son presents as further evidence

My renewal is getting sent of today even tho I’m waiting for decision for coc, does Anyone know if they give you a decision just before the renewal ends or can it be earlier?

Forms received by the dla on 02/07. Rang this morning and decision was made on the 11/11 but guy wouldn't tell me what it was. Said letter was posted on the 11/11. Have had no text and no payment. Does this mean we've been refused? Do they always send decision details via text, if so How long after the decision? Or do they only send a text if you've been successful? If we've been awarded how long after the decision is payment normally made?

Not everyone gets a text even when they request one. It can take 3-5 days for payment to go through so there's a chance. I would phone again and hopefully you'll get through to someone else who will tell you. I've heard a few people had to phone again and speak to someone else to find out. Hoping for good news for you!

@SKB12 You’re not that far from, I am MR aswell apparently 20/08. I think we will hear around Christmas/new year. Was it new claim or COC? xx

Hi all, I did write on an old thread but my scan date was 31/07 and finally after exactly 15 weeks recieved a big lump sum today from dla x

You can call back and request to speak to someone else. There is a different department that can tell you exact rates. I would try my luck, as letter can take a while to come xx

SD 09/08 for a new claim here, thought we may only have a week or so left to wait however looking at this thread seems we may not hear now until at least Christmas/January! So disheartening they really should update the letters they send out to not say up to 15 weeks for a decision 😔

I guess we got lucky as seeing people are finally receiving theirs from Scan dates beginning of July x

They never sent me a statement of reasons either. I had to request agian then it came in the post. I would definitely request agian as then you can argue the points they listed xx
