Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

I'm 24/06 June. A lady called me on Wednesday but I was driving on the motorway so she said she would call me back after she came out of her meeting and never did. I'm literally terrified to call as I think I will have a nervous breakdown if they say sorry it was declined so I'm just waiting it out 😭
I would ask the school Monday morning if they've received anything too as if they have you can they say hurry up and send it back politely of course haha xx

Same with me, my little one was in hospital and they left a voicemail, but I managed to call them back and it was just a question about my form! I’m the same as you though I get so anxious to call!
Thats a good idea I’ll ask the school Monday, I’m also going to phone dla Monday too! Hopefully your call was just regarding the form too, give them a call Monday? Even though it’s horrible phoning, it can’t be much worse than this limbo we’re in 😫😂

Thank you! Please keep me posted after you call on Monday and good luck 🤞 🙏 it's like I'm in this safety bubble of 'could still be awarded' and I'm afraid if I call up on Monday that safety bubble will be burst. It's awful and it's got worse and worse the longer the wait!
Bloody awful I just wish she had called back as she said I sat by the phone like my life depended on it all afternoon! Xx

I hate weekends at the moment. It just feels like non stop waiting!

0800 023 2635 although the number that was on the text to call back was a different 0800 number it was a direct dial through to her. (Which i didn't know but she could see I'd tried ringing it several times😅) The number they called from is a generic dwp number as I tried that too when I initially got no luck.

My scan date is also 12th Sep so keep us updated!

How long did people have to wait between the 2 letters? I never received the first letter stating that they had received my forms but did receive the second letter apologising for the deal. The second was dated 30 September so I’m trying to roughly guess my scan date. I posted the forms back around the 10th august

Hey my first letter was 24th July and it said something along the lines of we received it on 16th July, when I’ve contacted them they confirmed the scan date to be 16th. Although it was towards the end of June I posted so took them nearly 3 weeks to scan it on. The second letter was September time. Hope this helps.

I never received the first letter with the scan date on. Only received the second apologising for the delay. Good luck to you too

Sorry my mistake I misread what you’d put! I remember counting how many weeks it had been when I got the second one, and it was about 9 if I remember right

I received the second letter roughly 8 weeks in if that helps x

My 2nd letter is dated 30th October and my scan date is 12th Sep

back to the DLA grind for me youngest sons renewal paperwork arrived yesterday. runs out at the end of March.
couple of questions initially If I manage to get it completed quickly will it impact the date it runs out or will the existing claim run til then regardless?
any tips on how soon it needs to go in?have parents evening this week and a long winded set of questions for the SENCO

Does anyone know what they ask the school when they write to them? Is it a generic form or specific questions for each individual? X

Just opened yesterday’s mail and ive already got my MR decision letter from Weds 7th Nov. So before the back pay which i havent seen at all in the 20+ threads I’ve been here. The letter states it was increased due to the EHCP, which I thought might be helpful for anyone going through that cause that’s a long road in itself too!

What dates are we all waiting on? I'm really hoping to hear this week (18 weeks tomorrow) but not holding out much hope. Going to call at 9am but I imagine I'll get the usual fobbing off. Fingers crossed for lots of awards this week 🤞

I'm just over 17 weeks (scan date 12/07). Really hoping to hear soon, I can't take any more waiting.
