Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

This is the letter it says it on x

No that will be when it’s backdated too if you get awarded. The scan date will be on the letter they send after your application has been delivered and scanned into the system, telling you they have received your claim on such and such date x

Oh okay thankyou! So that is the 18th July which will take me to 16 weeks waiting tomorrow 🫣

I just caved and rang them again. Nothing so far, apparently. SD 3/7

When I called last week the man on the phone said it’s second in the queue. Could mean anything really. I’m going to hold off until 18 weeks before calling again

anyone heard around this time? Seen someone on Facebook have their MR looked at from the 17th. Rang yesterday no decision yet, had enough of waiting

I’m gonna have to have to join my toddler with nap time to keep me from calling. 😩

🤣. I don’t understand in this day and age with email etc, why they are still using horse and cart to send post! I’m giving it til Monday x

Hi, ive done my first renewal. Is it normal to get a letter saying they have received it on such and such date and have wait times on? I understand if it's a new claim but this is a renewal and wondered if this is the norm. Thanks

S/D 24/06 they called me whilst I was on the motorway at 12pm (phone connects to car) so she said that she will call back after her meeting at 12:20pm and never called back 😭 unless it's a really long meeting!
Do they call you to decline? Has anyone had a call from them before?

I'm the same scan date as yourself ,I've just rang to ask if I had enough time to send some extra information over ,The gentleman I spoke with stated there is "13 days left to mark the 20 weeks which is what they've advised "However a decision could be made in the mean time & may not reach the dm in time even if I send it special delivery .

So I rang up again (I know twice in one day)
Anyway my extra evidence i sent in yesterday was scanned in today and is now with my sons claim.
Also they put me through to someone else on the phone to escalate my claim and a decision should be made pretty soon which hopefully by the end of this week x
One big stress off me now I know they have everything possible to make the right decision. Xx
so things can be scanned in the same day and they tell us it takes weeks!!!

Yeah I was worried this morning when they said it may not get to the DM in time.. anything from the school did they receive letter today? Xx

No not yet. They said they would let me know when I does. I’m just being hopeful that it’s not a straight out no. And I know the school will have a bit of input. Not as much as I’ve given, but there will be something x

Any input is better than no input, I really hope they're on it for you, are you going to send it back yourself when they have done it because you don't want it going back on a saddle bag in the free post envelope 🙄🤣 xx

This is great news for you! I sent my evidence earlier so after reading this im going to call tomorrow afternoon to see if it’s scanned on. 21 weeks tomorrow, im over it 😩😂 Keep me updated, everything crossed for you to hear by the end of the week!

Yeah I'm not holding out much hope by end of this week🙄 I'm more relieved it got scanned in on time... I can see this going the full 6 months at this rate 🤣🤣 xx

Just called and asked about evidence they received on Friday recorded delivery and its still not been scanned on 😭😭

That’s what I thought. 🤣 I have asked if I can, I’ll see what they say x
