Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

I've noticed lots of decisions seen to be made at around 18+2 is week point

I phoned on Monday and it was with a DM, I wonder how long they're going to take

@Mommy2boys30 Seen a few scan dates around our dates being done. Albeit, new claims but fingers crossed we hear something soon

Fingers crossed we are next week I can't wait any longer because I reckon I will have to do an MR and I just wanna know ever way so I can move on to the next move

I hope it’s next week! Waiting for the decision from a new claim was bad enough. I’m gonna call them next week if I haven’t had anything and see what they say.

SD 23/07 New claim, I already have one child in receipt of DLA so not new to the process

I've had 2 children receive dla and it's never taken so long before.

That’s so bad! I really don’t understand why it takes so long especially with a COC they should be done quicker than the actual first claim🤣

Exactly the same here too, I’am actually quite shocked on the waiting times that I’am seeing, I did a MR for my daughter just last year & that only took two weeks what I’m seeing now is absolutely insane

I agree totally insane.
Ds new claim took 4 weeks around 4 years ago.
DD new claim was around 6 weeks.
I'm on week 17 on Monday for a new claim.

Scan date 22/07. Been waiting 14 weeks now and felt every day of it. The waiting is so hard 😔

SD 14/6… slowly loosing the will to live! This is our first claim. 18 long weeks gone.

Hopefully your not too far off getting your decision now 🤞🏼

It’ll be 13 weeks for me on Tuesday so I’m still looking at a bit of a wait by the sounds of it

Called to check received, been informed 25 week wait so 10th April 2025.
Absolutely shocking how can they be so behind. Makes me wanna do their job for them.

Morning all, so my SD is the 28/08 and I sent my sons birth certificate in about 3/4 weeks ago I think and when I called last week they said they haven’t got this yet. Worried this has been lost, anyone had any experience with this please

You'll probably have another 2-3 weeks wait (although could be quicker) hopefully comes around quick for you x

I did a coc last year and it took 28 weeks to complete my sons

My scan date is 1st July I'm at 15 weeks weeks today 16 weeks starts tomorrow this person says that their on week 14 scan date 22/7and there scan date is 3 weeks after mine did I count wrong?

Everything used to be alot faster 2 years ago

When you do a change of circumstances they have to look look at your current claim plus the form and any evidence you sent and decide if you have the evidence to prove a chnage or if the change is enough to changr the award and they arnt priority because you already have a award and it will be backdated

My scan date is 12.07 and I have myself down as 14 weeks and 2 days lol, I put in week by week on my phone calender but now I'm second guessing
