Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

My daughters is up 5th Feb, I may do the same as you.
I’m hoping that if they keep the original award that they’ll extend it too.
Hopefully you’ll here soon, you would think they may be able to fast track certain ones with the end date near wouldn’t you!?

Yeah that's it, it was only a 2yr award to begin with and with the waiting for the original form and the waiting from this COC for mobility component it's been a total of a year waiting for answers 😂🙄
It's awful waiting so long.. my 20 weeks is 6th Nov so I'm trying to hold out to call.
I have actually already filled out the renewal and got all upto date evidence copied ready to send.
I hear the renewals aren't as long for waiting though so that's good.

My scan date is 24/06 I rang yesterday morning and was told no decision had been made as of then. Good luck and hope you get a positive decision soon x

I rang this morning just after I posted. It's with a case manager but no decision as of yet. Hopefully we hear soon

Another day of waiting.. hopefully lots of awards for us today 🤞🫶 x

I'd missed a question and they've just rung me. They said there should be a decision today. Fingers crossed lovely!

just thought I would comment in regarding scan dates

my scan date 20/8. I called up this morning as I needed to submit additional evidence and they told me it’s already with the decision maker.

she added to the notes and said the decision maker would call me to clarify anything. I asked about time scales and she said it’s up to 20 weeks but things are not being done in date order as each decision maker works at different time scales.

just to add I did my sons renewal 4 months ago for dla (his award ends December) and it was processed and renewed within 7 weeks

Sd 25/6 no random money dropped into my account, no text no nothing. I'm thinking it's a decline 😭

Oh wow. Thank you so much for this. My scan date is 23.08 and I just sent extra evidence in yesterday. They received it today since I sent special delivery. Do you think I should call them just to make sure? I thought we had plenty of time still..

I would call them Monday and check it’s been scanned into the system

you still got plenty of time. You can call for an update and asked them if there is hold up xx

To be honest I wouldn’t believe everything they say as I was told I was with DM then next time I called they said it wasn’t. Hopefully that isn’t the case with you. xx

I called yesterday they said I have to wait to call back on the 12th Nov 😭

I just rang up even though I was trying to hold off till 20week mark, anyway no progress my form still not even been looked at And just says 'in progress' said I should have a decision by 20 weeks which is next weds 6th 🙄
I sit here doubting I've even sent enough evidence at the the time it was 5 months ago now, I keep looking over my form i copied before sending and wondering if I did enough for my son.. I hate this waiting 😳😫

scan Date 25/06 too

Have you had a decision and just waiting on the outcome or is it still being looked at?

I called everyday and just would ask something random on each call, on the last call they said the same and to wait till 20 weeks then 1 hour later I had a text to say yes, so don't give up hope 👌

I cracked and called again decision was made yesterday- she’s been awarded! Got lrm and mrc I’m so relieved!!! Phoenix, MrsB &MrsW2 don’t give up!!!!
