Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

I recently had this isssue it wasn’t resolved before my payment date and they paid me the extra amount after my normal monthly allowance

Did you get your usual amount for children though? I was worried in case they didn’t pay my usual allowance for the children on my claim x

Yeah so my son went from mrc to hrc and I just got standard usual month with housing child bits and the mrc element xx

I'm week 19+2 days COC for mobility part too, I last called this Tuesday and said it was "in progress" that's all they would tell me and told me to wait until 6th Nov 🙄

Also in all this I got my sons renewal pack due in March 2025 so yeah what an absolute pain it all is.. its exhausting me

If you did a COC they will extend the award. They extended my award for a further 2 years.

Can I ask did you know that the decision maker was calling you today ? I’m waiting for a claim for my son & I received a call that I missed earlier this afternoon, Was it a withheld number they called you on as well ?

Ahhh was hoping so all depends if it even gets awarded i guess, I have the renewal pack filled out and evidence etc just incase, I will hold off sending it until I heard from this one. Everyone keeps telling me it's hard to get the mobility part so I'm fully expecting a decline. It's rotten how they only gave a 2 Yr award anyway not like it's gonna get any better the problems my son has are life long.

My DD has an autism diagnosis and Halloween is her special interest - some of the questions don’t reflect what we as parents go through to try and support our children…. Today 3 meltdowns because there has been a month of building up to today - everything in her head has to be perfect and it’s exhausting for us as well as the stress of waiting for someone somewhere to decide if our children qualify for some extra support 😞

Gosh this is like my daughter. She’s 14 and on the NHS pathway. She adores Halloween and everything has to go just right or that’s it.

Glad I’m not the only one! Luckily I love Halloween but I must admit I’m very glad when it’s over 🤣 then we start the build up to Christmas and then her birthday! Just said to my husband I always know it’s coming and you try to be a mind reader being one step ahead in how she has pictured it….. failed today because we had 3 meltdowns 😞

They say they call on a private number or on the number they called me, which was 0800 023 2635. I got a text after the missed call saying they tried to call to discuss my child's claim and and they will be calling back between 9.30 and 10.30

Has anyone had any experience of DLA asking for the school to right a report?

I was also wondering this aswell I did send in a school risk assessment as with the kids being off this week would hold up our new claim . Scan date 24/6

i have sent extra evidence in yesterday with special delivery. I got the confirmation photo and signature this morning. How long should I leave it until I call to ask if it had been added to the claim? Thanks and good luck today for everyone with June dates!

my daughters claim ends in February but I’ve done a COC which was scanned 1/07.
Ive just rang to see if they had received the extra evidence I sent 3 weeks ago and they haven’t, but she has told me I need to do the renewal forms too because even with a coc, the date won’t change. Has anyone had a similar experience with this?

My previous COC in July this year, they extended award date automatically. However my renewal was not due till 2025. If your COC is going to complete earlier I would wait and see. However, would the unpredictable waiting times I would send off as now we are in November xx

Is anyone else scan date 25/06. 11 days left till I'm 20 weeks and I'm on absolute pins daily.

My 20 week wait would be the 18th of November. I haven’t even started the renewal forms. What a nightmare xx

Finally November! I hope we hear some late June and some July successes soon!

I'm the same, coc put in June SD 19th awaiting outcome, in the meantime I got renewal for March 2025. 🙄
I'm holding off sending it until i hear from this coc.
