You're same as me aren't you waiting for coc mobility part? Xx

Yeah I am xx

Mommy2boys30 · 28/10/2024 18:58

Yeah I am xx

Yeah I was told it's hard to get the HR they're reluctant to award that one. Is why I'm expecting LR or nothing at all tbh and I this will go on forever with an MR 😭🙄
hope we hear soon. 🤞

Same scan date as me, I also rang Friday but might cave tomorrow like you! Please let us know what they say! See so many scan dates the same as ours or after that have been dealt with we must be in the same pile 🤣

I did phone, apparently my scan date puts me at 8/6 so I still have to wait until 28th before I should be phoning... All she would tell me was it was still open. I asked if that meant a decision still hadn't been made either way and she said no... But she wasn't very forthcoming! 😓

Positive post.
Scan date was 8/6 so for us a long wait, but we've been awarded. Assumed middle and lower (no letter, just money in my bank!)
Good luck all to those waiting - it's been a long long wait!!!

Congratulations hun x

Update! Scan date 06/06 for COC - after calling last week and being told up to 25 weeks, I've woken up to a payment today. No letter or text to say how theyve come to this amount but assume it's back dated HRC & LRM. I guess the agent I spoke to last week was just being cautious with the 'they might do it all together on your renewal date in December' stuff. Phew! I've spent so long feeling like I'm asking for too much so the relief is enormous. I could cry. Hope everyone else waiting has some good news this week. x

ASDmummaof2 · 29/10/2024 07:33

Good morning congratulations to everyone who has been awarded! My scan date is 1/07 I will be calling today to add some new evidence and see where I am at. 17 weeks and counting. Not feeling optimistic my son is only 3 non verbal waiting for his autism diagnosis. He does have an EHCP so sent that over as extra evidence and also sent in his speech and language assessment and a few assessments from nursery. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞

ThisHangryOpalEagle · 29/10/2024 08:35

Realised my scan date is 10 days earlier. I was going off the date they sent the letter. It's a nice feeling to be 10 days ahead of where we were. Scan date is 12/07. Really hoping for some July dates soon!

MrsW12 · 29/10/2024 08:37

According to other awards this week and last week, today should be my day 🤞🏻😫. I did request a text but I’ve noticed that doesn’t always happen. I’ll call Friday at 19 weeks if I hear nothing this week. SD 21/06. Good luck everyone

Bicks84 · 29/10/2024 10:19

Called this morning and my daughter has been awarded.

SD 20/6

Mummytoviboys · 29/10/2024 10:26

SD 19/06 decision was made yesterday!

my son is 20months old, severely sight impaired, nystagmus, high degree of photophobia! GDD, suspected ASD, genetic disorder- oculacuteaneous albinism which makes him high risk for skin cancer due to no pigmentation.

He has been declined AGAIN! I’m heartbroken for him! I feel so defeated!
I first applied for him when he was 6months old, he was declined then too.
my 12yr old was awarded as a baby who has the exact same conditions.

I am, just got to wait for the reasons to be sent out as they don’t tell me on the phone!

Mumaaa · 29/10/2024 10:47

@Mummytoviboys sorry to hear that it seems so unfair.
can someone from medical profession call and ask them to look at again instead of going straight for MR that takes months
have you explained how much time this takes rather than explaining the condition itself?
it sounds like they go by how much extra time it takes to care for your child. I’ve read a lot about age being a big factor as young children need constant supervision already so maybe that’s why.
sorry and all the best with your MR xxx

Thank you,

the first time round I don’t think I explained his care needs very well so this time I made sure I did. He has a paediatrician appointment in a couple of weeks so I will ask them.
im going to gather up as much evidence as possible for the MR and hopefully this time it’s enough! Xx
