Does the back pay go in on a specific day of the week, or can I be any day?

Good question ! Anyone know this ? Xx

Scan date 25/06 rang this morning to check my extra evidence had been received. It was put under my name instead of my sons which has been sorted now. Asked while on the phone if it was with a decision maker yet and it is. Now I'm even more nervous. How long did it take for everyone else when with a decision maker x

pinkcr0cs · 28/10/2024 12:12

Can't believe it's finally my turn but have been awarded HRC & LRM!
SD 28/05 so a 22 week wait😵‍💫
Hope you all hear really soon x

In the past I've received the back pay on a Thursday for one child and a wednesday for the other.
So id say it's paid any day of the week.

I've just called to add extra information and was given an address. I'm sure Ive seen people do this over the phone or am I lying to myself?

Oh blooming hell. Can I ask what type of info you gave? I mentioned a change in sleeping patterns etc and she just gave me a free post address and a recorded delivery address and said if I send more than one page to name and DOB each piece

Bicks84 · 28/10/2024 13:14

Just called and they have said with a decision maker. Asked for a text and the nice lady said they don’t always send them and to just wait for a letter

Is there a chance that half term is going to slow things down does anyone know?

I was thinking this before. It definitely could do with people taking time off to be at home or if they're allowed to work from home the might be around their own children. Also if they require further information off schools they won't be open x

Hey Everyone, can't believe I am finally writing this.

SD 18/06 called on Friday and no decision had been made, called today, a decision was made on Friday, asked to be put through to someone who could tell me as I couldn't wait for the letter, been awarded HRC and LRM. So happy for my son. I was very open and honest when talking about his needs, and sent his ASD diagnosis too. But that was all. I think being really honest about what the days are like and going into a lot of detail really helps!

Good luck everyone x

Just how she’s behaving really and how she’s a danger to herself and bedtimes and mean times take so long. They typed it all ones her notes. They were really helpful each time. She is just doing more and more things every week so I added it to support my claim

Hello,
my scan date is 15/07 so abit more time to go for me, my 7 year old is on pathway for autism diagnosis. I put in for dla and had no idea I should fill it in and go in depth at how hard it is so I think at this rate I’ve no hope. 1 month after scan date my child was referred over incontinence with her bladder should I ring to add that on because I did mention bed wetting and that it’s affecting sleeps but I did write my child still has a bottle for bed and I think they’ll be thinking that’s why she bed wets but this is daytime she’s leaking bladder wise also and the bottle at bed has been removed but still bed wetting continues it’s a shame as she’s 7 years old. I honestly don’t have much hope in it all.
to add my youngest, she’s got a sensory processing disorder and me and school both have diets to follow do you think she could get support with dla?
also congratulations for all who have received there awards 💗

I would send in anything you can to support your claim. Also if you think she has more needs than others her age, then absolutely
