Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

Looks like the DMs are taking the weekend off 😫

No I didn’t until a couple of people got a text on a Saturday and Sunday a couple of weeks ago.

They said to me 2 weeks ago to wait 2 weeks then the beginning of last week it was wait till end of November, then Friday it was wait 25 weeks it's still in holding qué to go to a DM, honestly they haven't got a clue what they are on about, so I'm gonna leave it till every Friday and phone up 😂

I’m gonna call today to add more information as little one is just doing more and more that I think would support my claim. I wonder if a decision has already been made. 18+3 weeks today.

Onto another week. Has anyone with a July scan date for a new claim had any news yet? I'm absolutely desperate. My son is struggling so much and ideally my husband needs to be able to leave work to be his carer as I'm struggling to cope with my own health issues. My son's claim is 14 weeks today going off scan date of 22/07 and time is going so slowly. I could cry because I know they're nowhere near our scan date yet 😔

I really understand & sympathise as we are in a similar situation- but you may be waiting for up to another 10 weeks :( I'm on week 22 and they're telling people that new claims can be taking up to 25 weeks currently x

Yeah they have also said to me that it could actually be 'upto' 25 but usually it's 20 weeks wait.. I know when your 20 weeks is up you can ring up and they can do something to get it seen to quicker but one lady on phone told me a DM can have your form a couple of weeks before making a decision hence this extra 5 weeks on the 20 🙄
I hope lots of us get some answers this week 🤞🙌🫶 xx

Yeah hope so I have just gone past the 20 week mark so hoping this week but not counting on it

I don't want it to be rushed through and the right decision isn't made because of it either, rather they actually assess it properly

Just got through straight away to a lovely lady to add more information about little one. She was really understanding. She said they are taking about 20 weeks at the moment. Mine isn’t with a DM yet but is in the queue and should be going any time now 🤞🏻

He said it was awarded Friday I did request a text so unsure why I never got one!

I'm over the moon I haven't been sleeping the past few weeks with all these horror stories and what everyone is going through with the DLA! I wish you all the luck guys hope some people get some good news this week my scan date was the 17/06 so it's taken just under 19 weeks xxxx

Mine was 21/06. As I was on the phone giving more info, I noticed that little one has drawn all over my kitchen furniture with felt tip pen 😫.

I know! I was just finishing the call when I noticed. I bet she thought I was mad when I was saying oh my goodness, what have you done! The red come off but the green is still slightly there 😫

Just rang again they said times completely depend on 'who's pile you end up on' but you can request a text with the outcome although it's not guaranteed.
I'll ring again Friday

Hi all, I’ve been lurking the last few day, new claim,scanned 06/06, 20 week wait up 24/10, I called today and apparently I did not sign the bloody decleration, I’m almost certain I did however I do have that little doubt that I may have not as my brains have been destroyed by mr tumble for a good number of years 😅 a friend also scanned theirs the beginning of June and was awarded last week. I am gutted that I now have to wait even longer, good luck to everyone today!

I'm same scan date 24/06! Rang earlier they said they're looking at dates close to ours. To ring back In 2 weeks. As no decision has been made yet.

My sons c.o.c claim was 29/05 they'd given him a decision. But his extra evidence was lost so they told me to send it In as late evidence. When I rang earlier the lovely bloke told me he had no sent it to be seen by a decision maker as priority. Does anyone know roughly how long that would take? (not that we're decision makers 😂) but incase anyone has had any experience like this before?

Does the back pay go in on a specific day of the week, or can I be any day?
