Aww bless you. I know you’ve been so stressed. This is great news. May I ask your child’s needs? Mine is 4 and worried that it’s going to go against us x

She’s on the autism pathway, has global development delay, doesn’t sleep and is being assessed for dyspraxia. If it helps I had no evidence at all! Praying you get a decision soon! 🩷

Wow, that's early for a July decision! I'm so happy for you and your little one!

Wow, that's early for a July decision! I'm so happy for you and your little one!

I was told the other day it was with a decision maker, so I rang this morn to see if I had a decision and he said it wasn’t with a decision maker but he marked it as urgent and sent them a message to make a decision today and they actually did! It’s so frustrating when you get told different things every time you ring! X

I'm so happy for you! 🩷 pray for me now, same date but I'm sure I'll be waiting the full 20 weeks

Hi all
Not entirely sure what scan date means (new claim) but the letter I received from them says that they received my claim on 24/06 and will give a decision within 15 weeks, I'm approaching 18 weeks on Monday, last I heard was a letter on 2nd July apologizing for how long it's taking. I'm too scared to call up in case they shout at me 🙈 so I'll just wait.
I originally called up 30th May to have the forms sent out.
Dont understand how they work it as some people with July scan dates have received their awards, I would of thought they would go by date of receipt but doesn't seem to be the case.
Hopefully some of you will hear soon 🤞

Hi Nikki,
The same with myself and my son.
Sent the forms off on 07/06.
I received a letter after a month that said they received the forms on 19/06 and it'll take 15 weeks.
I received another letter on 06/08 saying sorry it's taking a while, but that the waiting time is 15 weeks.
I called last Monday and they said wait until the 20 week mark, which is 06/11, and if I don't hear anything, as that is the real waiting time for a decision to be made.

As of now I'm on 18 weeks + 2 days, hopefully hear something soon.
Good luck!

Fantastic news. So pleased for you. I’m 21st so hoping not long for me now. They seem to be working through Junes quicker now.

I am sure you will get decision soon I only know because I forgot to put England or Scotland on there so they rang me or I still would be driving myself insane

You may already have a decision you won’t know unless you ring or receive back payment which can take 3-5 days so I wouldn’t of known today about mine if I filled form correctly lol as you are same date as me

I'm SD 19/6 and rang today to give them the ehcp Information they asked for, anyway they told me it was "in progress" what ever that means and I will have a decision in the next 2 weeks. 🙄

Just called again, no decision has been made as of yet, he said (again) that it may take up until 06/11 before a decision is made.
I asked if it was with a DM but he said he can't see that.
Said I'll get an update by text once a decision has been made.

The wait is killing me.

Bicks84 · 25/10/2024 16:45

SD 20/06
just called because I saw there was an award in July and the person said they cannot see if it is with a decision maker it just shows open as it permenantly is once scanned in. They are never informed or able to tell if it is with a decision maker. All cases are different and those being awarded in July may be more straightforward

Hi
It's soul destroying isn't it all this waiting?! I received the same as you. I haven't called them up once I just figured they would write to me once they looked at it. I was dealing with my mum pensions credit for her as I'm her carer too and when I was calling them up for updates they bit my head off each time so I won't call up govts anymore lol

I hope you hear soon 🤞 you should hear before me so I'll keep checking in.
Good luck to you too lovely!

Same date as me!! 24/6 letter said 15 weeks but on phone (I've called 3 times🤦‍♀️) they say wait the 20 weeks and said they are working close to that so who knows
Good luck everyone

Mummytoviboys · 25/10/2024 19:11

SD 19/06
rang at 4.30 as I’ve seen people awarded after this date!
she wasn’t very helpful and said I hadn’t reached the 20 week mark yet so ring back once I do 🙄

Oh that's a relief hearing that they are close! I've almost gone completely grey waiting 😭
Do you know if they send a letter with the decision or do they call or text? Have seen people say different things.
Good luck to you too🍀

It's been lovely seeing the positive posts today!

MrsW12 · 25/10/2024 20:32

I actually had do pluck a grey eyebrow out this afternoon 🤣. I blame this whole process fully! 🤣

I'm not sure how they'll contact I think I'll ring again on the 31st as I have seen a few people getting results about that sort of time after the scan date and I can ask them how they'll contact as waiting for a letter will probably take a few more weeks 😶

Oh no haha it's most definitely because of this whole process! I'll be needing to go Zimmer frame shopping before long it's been 75 years 😂 well it feels like it anyway haha

@Isntitmenttobeeasier oh good coz I'm too afraid to call up haha can you post what they say please? It confused me when I saw people with July scan dates receiving their decisions, I wonder how they work it.

Yes I definitely will! I sit on here most nights looking to see if anyone's updated some dates 🤣
