Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

I phoned yesterday they said they can't tell me where I'm at in the list xxx
My scan date was 5th of the 7th

What day does back pay normally go in? I'm hoping just to check one day and see we've been awarded that way lol

Omg I cracked again. 3rd time I've called this week 🤣🤣🤣 wanted to request the text as I'd seen you have to request it. He said I don't 🥴 but after all the messing I've had with my scan date. One say it was 13/06 and the other saying 17/07 he's then just told me it's the 13/06 and it's been assigned to the new claims department. He didn't understand what I meant when I asked if it was with a decision maker he just kept repeating it's not in que it's with new claims department....does this mean it's basically with a decision maker?!? Am not going to lie am tempted to call back 🤣. I could really do with the little extra financial help as my son is getting older and and his fussy branded eating habits are breaking the bank. I know it's something he can't help so we make it work. But am sure you ladies get it 😅

I totally get this! My 2 year old just been diagnosed with Coeliac disease to go with his cows milk allergy and the price of gluten and milk free (if I find both together that is) are so expensive 🤣 currently broke after yet another gluten and milk free snack run to asda 😭

I had this problem last week so
i I rang back and used excuse that does it mean it had been lost as why is it in a different department
but again he didn’t know what I was on about when I rang back

Have you heard anything since? It's all very confusing 😭 I'm literally having nightmares that I'll be refused. He has ASD diagnosis and is also awaiting adhd diagnosis which was recommended by alder hey but I know it's down to care needs. Am worried I haven't filled in the form completely or I've been a little forgiving with some of the questions. Like I was thinking the other day that I think I said I have to tell him to brush his teeth about 6 times when infact this morning alone I had to tell him 15 times and then actually stand with him and force him to do it. I should of done a diary before I filled it in but I had alot going on at the time. I'll kick myself if I'm refused. I don't think I'll have the mental energy for an appeal

Its horrible isn't it. I'd love to shop at Aldi or Lidl but he will just starve himself or live off apples if I don't have his stuff from Asda

Have not heard anything I am the same worrying as I didn’t put someone down for who knows my child and that sort of thing and thinking now I think I wrote due to his needs and not correct wording and same as you after I sent it I though oh I should of wrote that lol
but again same as you life it not a breeze and it’s hard to remember things that are challenging because we get used to it and is normal way of living now

Can you not get milk prescription from the gp? My son is dairy free and he gets milk prescription from the gp we had to get a dietitian involved x

it is very stressful and mentally exhausting because I tho k everyone on here wants the best for there children and what there children deserve

To those who wish they added more info on their forms, you can call and add more. I’ve done this a few times.

Its either the 13 June or the 17 July 🤣🤣 I missed information so I've had two calls saying it's the 13th and 2 calls saying it the 17th as it's when I sent back the completed form
Did you do get sent a form or print off? My form was sent on the 2nd of Feb but I got it in late so unsure what they will do regarding back date

S/D 24/5, just spoke to a lovely person on the phone, she said it's definitely with the decision maker. 😬 I think I'm more nervous knowing that.

I got sent forms I think if you forms was sent in late they only back pay to your scan date but if it was sent in on time they back pay to day requested but I am not 100% on that
it’s just a real drag now and just need to know yes or no and I am trying to have will power not to phone again

I only rang this morning and because I don't understand what he said I am so tempted to ring again but if they log each call I'll look like a nut job
