Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐 we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time. wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

SD 30th May for a new claim. We haven't phoned yet as we received a letter dated 28th July staying it could take 15 weeks and to not call. That date takes us to 10th Nov so we are trying to hold out until then!!

and was told to ring 6th nov if I haven’t heard anything as that is 20 weeks for me
so your 20 weeks should of taken you to the 7th October

This isn't dla related but there's no threads and we are all parents with children on the spectrum and I dunno who else I can talk to so i really hope you dont mind.
My son is waking at 4am ... I can't handle it, it's making me so angry and frustrated, I am sooo freaking tired. He has possible adhd and odd, pda, possible autism.... we have a clock that closes its eyes at night time and opens in the morning, but he couldn't care less. He wakes his 3 year old brother too and doesn't sit nicely and play.... he literally starts jumping off his bed, wrestling with his brother, he's worked out how to turn the light on and throws everything around the room. He goes to bed at 6.30pm we have tried later bed times but he still wakes at the same time, he's so tired after full time school as well to the point he tells us he's tired and is it bed time yet. I just don't wanna be so angry but also need him to sleep reasonably 😴😪 father doesn't care because he falls asleep downstairs most of the time and doesn't hear our son or get woken by him. So I'm coming downstairs like a ball of flames and he's not even understanding how I feel.

Get video evidence together and speak to Dr, are you waiting to see peadatrican? They can prescribe melatonin and a lot of people agree with it and a lot disagree with it, it helps a lot for my 3 year old as he was sleeping 3-4 hours at night and was killing me

I have just got through scan date 7/06 COC and still not with a DM and now can take up to 25 weeks to wait till start of December to call back honestly it's a right piss take I'm 19+5 weeks 😭 I started in January and they put it down to a COC and not an MR

I have just rang for the first time since making the claim, took around 20 mins to get through and she said they are facing systems issues and to call back in 2-3 hours.

I’ve just called too and got told to call in 2 hours asked me all the details to confirm who I was then the system is down surely if the system is down they wouldn’t be able to load anything 🤔

I'm so worried it's been rejected :( anyone else get their back pay after they've received a letter woth a decision? Or did it go through before? As my mail here is so slow, I get letters 2-3 weeks late.

Hey from what I have read on here people get there back pay with in 5 days of decision
then a letter weeks later

Ring again and when they ask you what your ringing for say to find out what the decision was will keep my fingers crossed for you! Xxx

Not sure how others are getting through haha I tried twice and just said was down but seen comments after my post saying got through and spoke to someone x

Takes them a while to verify… my son went from
mrc dla to hrc dla and it took me 3 months to get the money from
uc and make sure on your journal you ask for it
back dating from the same date dla do or they won’t x

I did phone, apparently my scan date puts me at 8/6 so I still have to wait until 28th before I should be phoning... All she would tell me was it was still open. I asked if that meant a decision still hadn't been made either way and she said no... But she wasn't very forthcoming! 😓

I'm also waiting for verification from CBOL. UC said once it's verified the system will automatically make payment. He didn't say how long though

My child's details have been verified already, I have wrote in my journal but have had no reply I have asked for back pay to start when my joint claim started as they couldn't give me back pay from when I made dla claim

Because my joint claim was made after the dla claim and it starts as a whole new uc claim

So the joint claim start date is the earliest I could of claimed backpack for which i think is ridiculous but its only one month out I think

You can either call back and ask to speak to someone else if you were awarded Monday you probably receive backpay 3-5 workings days. So maybe Monday if not this week. The letter takes a while to arrive. Mine arrived after 4 weeks. I would try your luck calling up x

I've called every week for the last 4 weeks. Told a different story each time. It's becoming too much to ring.
They said its in a holding queue and they have got staff on overtime to clear the backlog.
I'm just presuming MRs are in a different holding queue as the dates aren't being cleared the same as new claims and coc x

Is anyone else waiting a decision on a mandatory reconsideration. I'm assuming it is a different waiting list as the dates of new claims and change of circumstances are starting to hear back and when I ring I get told a different story everytime and they have said I am looking at December for a decision.

Me. I’m 1/7 and when I phoned they said near Christmas? So I’m not expecting anything soon

Are you serious? That should definitely be high rate! I’m still waiting for hear about my claim and I give ng feeds every 3hours, including nights so not sure what they will do with mine.

I know im so angry and shocked that they can deny that, it was all evidenced also.

I think it really does depend whos desk it lands on but hopefully yours is awarded correctly! X
