Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

trying my best not to phone as only rang yesterday

21/6 called to see it they received a second lot of additional evidence i have sent. They've got that and i was told that it is now with a decision maker - does anyone know how long it takes from there?

I rang to request it and to check progress as 17 weeks today x

Oooh same as me! I just called to add extra information and I got cut to the survey before I could finish what I was saying and ask where mine was in the queue 😫. For my last child it was with a DM for less than a day x

My 7 year olds SD is also 19/06. I called last Monday and they said give it until the 20 week mark before I try again, which would take it to 06/11. Let us know if you hear anything back!

Our scan date is the day before you.
I called it's not with a desision maker yet.

My 7 year old is autistic and I have no idea if he'll get the DLA I've applied for. Although I did send the following:

• Official ASD diagnosis
• Occupational therapy referral
• Educational Psychology Services Letter which references the path to an EHCP
• External school attendance for extra help
• Psychology Report
• Boxall Profile
• SEN Referral form
• A 4 page thorough letter from the SENCO support and teacher at his school

New claim, SD 19/06. Wish us luck!

Same scan date as me! I hope it is with decision maker the wait is driving me crazy 🤪 🤣

Mine was sent to DM last wednesday and I received back pay this morning. I didn't receive a text though

COC scan date 7/06 and still nothing, the wait is killing me

I kept getting the phone put down on me all morning 5th person finally spoke to me was awful! The wait is driving me crazy! Xx

Sd 12/07 just got off the phone to the nicest man ever. He said there’s only one claim before mine with our decision maker so I’m ringing back tomorrow eve and praying they’ve made a decision! 🙏🙏

I rang DLA again today, to see if my sons claim had been to a decision maker. SD 14/06 New Claim, and they said it will be overlooked by a DM this week and I should have our response within the next two plus week, maybe sooner depending on other factors.

So hopefully other people with similar SD should have their answers soon.

Are renewals quicker than new claims ? The form was much shorter ?

I'm unsure as ours is a new claim x
