Ok now im really panicking, they said a decision has been made but there not allowed to read it out, ill recieve a letter, so im thinking we have probably been rejected

Really hoping to see some dates for April being awarded soon 🤞🏻

This is terrible how people are treated, I hope you are okay and find some answers soon don't lose hope just yet everyone's cases are different and some may need some more attention than others and tbh everyone award dates are so different there's literally no pattern x

Try not to worry, I'm sure I've seen that before and they called later that day and got someone else who told them they'd been awarded x

So finally good new, my sister told me to ring up again so i did, got a very nice man that said he couldn't tell me but put me through to someone who could, we have been awarded MRC and Low mobility, im currently still sat here in shock crying as i was certain we had been turned down.
Good look to everyone else.

Is anyone tried to ring recently? I’ve been on hold/waiting for 1hour 10 minutes so far no answer and unsure whether to keep waiting or hang up and ring again, it’s never taken this long before for me

I was just on hold for 1 hour I ended up hanging up (I’ve never waited that long before also) x

Hello. I’ve been following this thread for a while. I am currently trying to get through 1hr 5minutes up to now.

I was told on Monday it was going to be with a DM by the end of this week.
Its a new claim as I missed the deadline for a renewal claim.

@Emssxo did you ever call to see if your additional evidence was scanned in? i just called and they still haven't got it but told me it can take up to 6 weeks. x

1hr 27 minutes. I got through and the lady on the phone said there is no way of knowing if it’s with a decision maker or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ I get told different things all the time. My previous phone call a gentleman said expect to hear the decision by next week, which would be 16 weeks for me this coming Wednesday. The lady has just told me it’s 20 weeks 🙃

Iv been told so many different things
Last Monday it was apparently with dm on the Wednesday it wasn't
Called Friday to be told top of the pile and would hopefully be with dm over weekend
Tuesday told its a 20 week wait and today told not with dm but in dm que 😩😭 17 weeks today

They literally make it up as they go along I think, also some are agency and cant see anything and others are actual dwp workers they can see more into the claim, think that's the 1523 way or it's 1532. I rang for update yesterday as scan date 1st April so was 15 weeks Monday and they said its top of the holding pile and will either go this week or next to a dm, she told me id sent a lot of evidence and I was like well yeah that's what you need isn't it so I don't know if that makes a difference either the amount you send

The simple answer would be to stop calling and just wait but I haven’t mastered how to do that 😅

I have been told that too earlier in the week. I basically sent them my son’s life history in medical report form 😂 My son has been on DLA since birth but because he was poorly in hospital I missed the deadline for renewal. It’s been nothing short of a nightmare!

I ended up hanging up after 1hour 33 minutes will try again Monday, my scan date was 21/03 and not yet heard anything

6 weeks for evidence to be scanned that's crazy!! I've sent in extra things twice in this 15 week (so far) wait and they were on within a few days both times. The whole thing needs scrapped and new systems in place
