Thank you for your response I'm just worried that they won't have the most accurate evidence from the school. Although I think I'm just panicking a bit as at my last meeting with the school last week they did tell me that all the staff had attended a course on tourettes/tics to educate themselves more on it as they hadn't had such a serious case since my child joined. I definitely think I'm just worrying too much because I've seen a lot of people with scan dates after mine being awarded. It's just such a long and stressful process x

Chase it up on your journal hun they need it I think. Some get it straight away some people wait weeks. I will be putting a message in if they haven't sorted by the end of this assessment period.

Bless you. Such a horrible time for you. Yes good you got some sort of award but I don't think they have awarded right. Definitely fight them because you know he deserves the care part as well. From what you have said there was plenty of evidence for it. We'll all be here for you going through your MR so do it and know we have got you ❤️

Totally understandable worrying lovely! I get what you mean, I've seen a few with unsupportive schools on here and the last thing you want is them not giving an accurate account. Hopefully all will be sorted soon for you xx

His school have been totally supportive, they are the ones that told me to apply for dla. Like I said I think I'm just working myself up over not having a response yet. My scan date is 20 Feb and I've been seeing a lot of awards for scan dates after mine. I must just have either a very slow or very thorough DM lol. I'm just worrying if they have called recently that the schools information won't be in line with what I said on my application and I don't want them to think I'm lying or over exaggerating. I think I'm just being silly though because I have sent a lot of information from the school. This long wait time really does drive the best of us crazy 🙈😂 xx

Well been following these threads just under a year now had a renewal and a new claim had to do mr for both claims lost 1 won another so now going through tribunal also for high mobility also just hads to fill out mobility for my other son to add to his claim as isn't 3 until December so that's now sent also after winning a mr in May I have been awaing UC to add severe disabled element as my child got awarded HRC after doing the MR but still awaiting UC for backpayment so far has taken 4 weeks and still nothing everytime I ring or write on my journal they fob me off so frustrating as been such a long process since august 2023 anyway fingers crossed 🤞 for everyone also myself hoping i get the right results at tribunal also dla to add mobility for my son x

Scan date 21/02, still waiting, convinced it's not good news now 😥

When I rang yesterday it was answered in around 3 minutes each time. Was to see if they got extra evidence at first they couldn't see it but the phone cut off and on second attempt they had found it.

Times she told me didn't make sense though and I think there's no actual structure to waiting, she said updated information is 20 weeks, but could be 15 weeks but could also be before this...ended the call more confused than when I started 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

@Matilde08 I can't believe after all this time that they still haven't sorted yours out! I hope you send that complaint off already. Hopefully it was a mistake on the call and your boy has also been awarded for care. I'd have to ring again to confirm. Good luck everyone ringing today x

No luck there saying today 15-20 weeks I'm dead on 15 I wish I could just wait it out but when your told so many different things they give you hope then take it away from you

I still don't get why he's not eligible for care component. As it means I can't apply for care allowance now at all. My UC coach is very supportive, knows all my history, circumstances, little ones special needs and constantly asking when decision is back, let her know straight away.

I only use 523

Back pay went in today, was issued on Monday so 3 days not including day of issue xx

called again today scan date 27.2
still no decision will be full 17 weeks by next week i doubt will get a decision this week.

Sd 11/4 was made priority a few weeks ago, called Monday for an update and it was first in the queue waiting to be picked up, the call handler left a note asking for it to be looked at asap.
