Is anyone with a scan date of 12-16 Feb calling today?

Mine is but I'm not calling 😂 ... don't think I can take another lie from them haha! I'm hoping for a text this week for us all 🙏🏻🍀🙌🏻

Dla application received 9/2 message to say claim being looked at on 20/5 just called today a decision still hasn’t been made is there anyone else that is still waiting on a decision from this time frame?

@Crazyhouse4 I called yesterday and was told to wait three weeks before calling again if we don't receive a decision. The call handler (a lady) was not rude but seemed bored to talk...
So stressful, at this point I just want an answer whatever that will be.

That's it... I'm putting down the complaint 😪😔😪 Lovely lady put me on the hold and came back with pretty much the same.. the e mails have been sent to case manager to chase up and do something about my boys claim as it's emergency. She have sent another e mail and said ..when it's back usually it takes another 2-3 weeks for decision to be made then. I explained all about the calls what I have been told, that someone even said on Friday to call back yesterday as decision will be made by then and still nothing. I explained how much anxieties it has caused to me and that the reason of that delay triggers me every single time I need to call and talk through. She was lovely and empathetic and apologise to me. But that's about it. She asked me to call back in a week or two for an update.

Get it sent off. Enough is enough now. How they think treating people like that is fair is beyond me 😡

Hey I’m still waiting too, declared it 10th may and I’m still waiting now I’ve been calling but keep telling me there’s no timescale! Another wait it’s so frustrating x

I spoke to my family support worker of UC this morning and she said they rarely deny any back pay. She said mine is with the decision maker now but can take weeks, the elements has been put into my UC now so when I do get the back pay it will be in time for summer holidays so try and look at it as a saving for a good summer break. X

@CaitlinAmy12 @ADT13 @MumOf6Beauts its ridiculous the amount of different stories they keep coming up with, I don’t see why they can’t be straight with us considering we’ve been waiting along time for a decision as it is. I was told mine was with dm a week ago but still haven’t hear anything, the next time I called I was told to wait til 17 weeks. Hopefully it won’t be much longer 🤞 good luck to you all I hope you get the awards your hoping for

I think the breaking point for me was being told on Friday that decision will be done by Tuesday this week, and today I have been told wait for another 2-3 weeks. I can't really blame the phone holders as they e-mailing, putting down the notes to the case manager to chase this case up, but nothing have been done and who knows if it will in 2 weeks. I have been so patient and understanding, but I could clearly see that my boys claim have been ignored, and when it reached 20 weeks mark and I started to call, only then they started to do something about it. I'm extremely upset to thar case manager who 6 weeks ago promised to do everything to sort it out ..asked me wait for another 6 weeks.. and now expecting me be very understanding and wait for another 2-3 weeks. The whole f.... year will pass by (sorry for my language) but I'm extremely pissed of now. And there's zero compassion or empathy to the fact why they ask me to wait for longer.

Thank you. My scan date was 22/11/2023 ...so more than 28 weeks. They just ignored it because of the additional check ups they need to do as my boys dad passed away and he's getting survivor's pension from another EU country.

@Matilde08 I'm glad you are finally standing up and saying enough is enough. They have taking the piss big time and you have been so patient and always accepting off what they tell you. You have understood for a long time and been accepting that your sons case is different but in return you just get lied to and told to keep waiting. Please express in your letter what this has done to you, your marriage as good as he is he has had to watch his wife suffer. And the stress its put on your family 😔. I wish i could give you a huge squeeze right now 💖 xxx

@Matilde08 my heart really does go out to you I can’t believe how much they’ve messed you about and telling you conflicting and different information I had everything crossed today you would get the news you’ve been longing for you’ve already been through so much and they are just adding to it I hope your claim is dealt with ASAP and you get what your entitled too sending support and hugs your way ❤️

My scan date was 15/4 and haven’t received any letters or texts . Only know it’s there as I rang to check. It’s strange how there isn’t just one set of rules to go by for them for each case. Everyone keeps getting different excuses!

@Matilde08 I would 100% put that complaint in now but I would also be back on the phone demanding to speak to a manager and telling them that the complaint has been made and that you are going to local M.P it's absolutely outrageous that you have been treated this way

My scan date was the 24/05 and ive received 1 letter, i think they just do what ever they feel like hun x

I think you need to call back and say you have put in a complaint about the service and treatment you are receiving and if your case is not sorted by Friday you are involving your M.P!
they are taking the piss hugely!

It's not fair is it! They shouldn't be aloud to do it they don't think of the effect it's having on.peoples mental health it's so shocking especially reading everyone's experiences so far

I wonder if it’s certain people that work certain ways and others just don’t give a f about the people they are stressing out!
I need to send in my son’s CAMHS acceptance letter (well I think I do?) but it puts you off as you don’t know if it’s going to delay your claim any further x

I agree rhat some staff just dont give a fuck ive sent extra evidence and ive got more to send im just gna call nect week to see if its on the system xx

i very much doubt it would delay your claim further hun I did loads of additional different pieces of evidence at different times as and when I received them and my boys took from calling for forms to being awarded 17 weeks total I would say any additional evidence is best to be sent off as you don’t want not sending it causing delay as they could ask you for more or potentially it being a decline hope this helps , I’ve just put in claim for a different child with suspected adhd and autism and I am sending any and every bit of evidence over as and when it comes x
