Wtf have I just seen that @Justkeepsplashing they have sent you a refusal letter after you have been awarded, let us know how the call went, that is so bizarre,
Also after UC has sent my case to a decision maker for disability element back pay roughly how long do they usually get back to you, thanks in advance xx

I called them and, after an hour on hold, I finally spoke with a lady. It took her a long time to find our claim. Once she found it, she asked how many letters we received and if we got any texts. She then said they are very busy and we should hear from them within the next three weeks.

No, North East accent I would say. Think he was called Wayne.

@Fee89 @Mez2024 Thank you ladies for your optimistic wishes. Honestly, I'm loosing my hope it will ever be sorted. Obviously this guy couldn't even see there's note or something that decision should be done by today. Then I have a question from where that guy on Friday call toke it. He made it up? I still have another 7 hours, but this guy didn't sound too sure about what he's saying.

My scan date is 14/02 does anyone know what the waiting times are roughly atm, I did my daughters last year and it took 17 weeks.

There are a few of us with scan dates from 12/02 onwards through the end of that week, and we don't have any news

Found out that strange call and unclear voice message yesterday was from my little ones classmates father, letting me know his son can't attend birthday party.. was so naive thinking and hoping it's someone from DLA 🤦🏻‍♀️😄

Yes.. and was really grateful for them to letting me know. As like you mentioned, you pay, you plan the food, everything and they don't show up...🙃

So far nothing about decision 😕.. if nothing, I'm calling tomorrow and asking for manager to explain what exactly is happening and why still after been marked priority, I have been left in the same loop with waiting.

Just checked.. I had a call from lady who most likely took my sons case in her hands when I found my case manager is in the manual leave. She promised to chase the Blackpool, do everything to prioritise my boys claim as we have waited for so long. Apologised and asked me to stay with them a bit longer.. and it was soon to be two weeks already from that call. Today is exactly 6 weeks since case manager called me and explained they will do everything to sort it as soon as possible, and when I asked about the time, he said as soon as possible but give them max another 6 weeks. I just feel I don't believe to anyone and calling them seems to be pointless at this point. 😕

I rang last Thursday my scan day 27/2 to be told it’s not been looked at yet and could take up to 20 weeks but she said that is the latest. I only sent a letter of support from school
stating what my son is like. I did mention to the lady that the job centre are on my back to do more hours even though I have to pick my son up at lunch time everyday from school because he is struggling and can only do a hour and half mon to Fri at work to give me time to pick him up , asked if she needed me to send the paperwork of that evidence to which she said that it’s not asking for anymore evidence or support ,so I’m hoping that with us all waiting this amount of time we don’t get declined for it. my scan date is 26/2. I got a text yesterday and called them today to ask if I had time to send more evidence in. I was told my claim was given to the case manager and that I should hear from them in 14 days. I’m taking it with a pinch of salt!

If you have any additional evidence/paperwork I'd send it urgently - MRs are taking a bloody age at the moment! The last thing you need is more waiting and more pressure 😥

There doesn't seem to be many (if any?) awards over the last couple to days 🤔

@Matilde08 keeping everything crossed you hear soon. Can't believe you have waited this long and they still haven't rushed you through as a priority!

I would honestly send everything you have asap and send it recorded delivery. It's unlikely your case will be looked at until next week at the earliest, if you send it tomorrow it should be there Thursday and scanned on early next week

The more evidence you have, the greater chance you'll have at being accepted. I have seen quite a few rejected claims over the last few weeks 😕
