im 15/02 I’ve just called and luckily spoke to a really nice guy. He said a decision hasn’t been made for mine yet but it’s on week 16 and he said there taking between 15-17 weeks at the moment. Hopefully we all hear something very soon🤞🏼🙂

Definitely give them a call, I’ve just called and the guy said there taking between 15-17 weeks yours would be past 17 weeks now x

Why on earth would they be looking at it so soon after awarding?
Definitely call up because they should have at the very least given you a reason why. Absolutely ridiculous 🙄

Still no text message or letter but have just checked my bank balance and have seen a DWP DLA payment is due to come in tomorrow 🎉

I literally spoke to them yesterday and was told there was no info and I could be waiting until 27th June.

But the guy did ask me "what's the name of the bank for the account the benefit will be paid into". Thought it was a slip of the tongue at the time but he could obviously see it had been awarded 🙄

Delighted, though. I found filling in the form excruciating especially as I have CFS/ME so it took me forever - sent off for the paper form twice!

Fingers crossed for everyone else today/tomorrow! 😁

Scan date 20/02. Called yesterday and was told I’d have a decision by the end of the month. Haven’t received any texts even though they have my number on file.

Fingers crossed the letter about the claim being withdrawn was an error - hope you get some answers!

Good luck, I thought they would have gave all the 12/2 scan dates a decision yesterday, it seems the wait times have slowly been increasing over the last couple of weeks 🙄 hopefully you get some good news soon

I also got asked to confirm my bank account in the phone yesterday, but I think it was just a security question 🤷🏻‍♀️ will have to wait and see.

Clear example of them not checking your child's file 🤦🏻‍♀️ you would of been awarded friday for payment to be going in tomorrow 😂. Main thing is its an award 🥳. Congratulations xx

You usually get back pay 3-5 days after award is made xx

was told is with a decision maker and should be done within 2 weeks the lady did say they are processing February claims at the moment!

Yes, it was a standard security question but I saw in an earlier thread that someone had called and had someone ask "What account will the money... I mean, erm, if you're awarded it, what account will the money be paid into" which made them suspect they'd been awarded, and then they had. So when I got the same it made me a bit hopeful (although no less anxious).and now the same has happened 😅

But, yes it could be meaningless. In the absence of any clear information you end up latching onto these tiny signs to try and make some sense of it all I guess.

Does anyone know once they have confirmed everything through universal credit how long it takes them to pay the money owed please? X

I spoke to someone, and got asked for the name of the bank, when going through Security too, which I thought was strange.

Also said it should done within next Three weeks.

After 40 min of hold someone responded. I explained that I have been asked to call in today for decision. As I have been told it will be done by Tuesday. We'll decision have not been done yet as he could see, he can see that e mail have been sent for it to be priority. Pretty much the same update I got on Friday. He said if I have been told decision will be done today and if it will I will get a text message today, but if no decision no message. All he could do is mark again that I have been called and someone have promised me it will be done by Tuesday. Also, I mention that call last night and he said that shouldn't be from them as they finish to work by 7. So... sorry for disappointing you, ladies..no Pj's & drink party 🙃

I’ve just been on the phone to UC because they said that they wouldn’t back date the payment because I didn’t tell them in February that my son had been awarded DLA. I had to tell them I applied in February and I could not tell them of the change until I had an answer if my son was awarded, I didn’t know till may he had been awarded so how the heck can I tell them of a change before I even know the answer 🤯. The man on the phone just kept saying I needed to tell them my son got DLA from February. He didn’t grasp the fact he wasn’t awarded till may and got backdated from February. Can someone please help me explain to this dumb person I can’t make a change until the change has happened
