Not happy had to do a review on mine as was awarded low care that's it when they know my daughter needs the attention at night clearly states insomnia and the putbin decision letter she dosnt need me at night?? She is 11 with adhd autism and suffers from stress and panick attacks am actually fuming got a letter today they are going to call me as need more information ?? Its a joke I work hard and am running of 2 hours sleep a night if your luck am getting to the stage now I feel like telling them to shove it as am not begging for it , worked all my life and get treated like dirt 🙃 not happy at all

Aw, hope you are OK, the decision makers don't know what we go through, it's a joke, what evidence did you send babe, I think it's just down to what you send in the form, did you state night time needs too, my eldest 9 year old daughter is diagnosed autism and overactive bladder, she gets HRC just for her continence needs nothing to do with her needs being autistic, it's a fucking joke, hope you are OK xxx

I got awarded a week ago and I still don’t have a decision letter. The only reason i know I got awarded is because I called up. I got awarded on the 16/2. UC are also doing my head in, it’s not hard to understand that there’s been a change.

Does anyone know Why they could request my daughters birth certificate when I've already given them her passport number?

Also I'm on uc and get MRC for my eldest and disabled child element at low rate. I don't get any money for my other daughter because of the two child cap and she was born after 2017 ' I've got four daughters' do i have to tell uc if she gets accepted for dla and will I get disabled child element for both children or will it be just the one? I'm so confused.

I put my sons passport number down on forms but was also asked for birth certificate, I think it's just pot luck with asking, I'm not on UC so not sure but I guess you would get it

Can anybody help me? Ive asked the doctor for a letter of support for the dla claim which he is happy to do but has asked me what i want him to put in it?? I have no clue what he needs to write. Can anybody give me ideas or point me in the direction of a template xx

Renewal form received 14/02 (it's actually a COC as well since daughter turned 5, so have completed the mobility section). Current award ends beginning of August. Called today as coming up to 15weeks to be told that won't even get looked at until nearer the renewal (August) and that the timeframe is 15weeks or the renewal date, whichever is longer! Has anyone been told similar? It's with a DM, but was told that doesn't mean anything as they can sit on it for weeks.

Hi hun not sure if your question has already been answered but yes I get dla for my youngest son and he isn’t entitled to child element due to the 2 cap child limit but he gets the disabled child element of UC hope this helps x
