Hi for anyone waiting for uc backdating. I uploaded to my journal yesterday. Was sent a link this morning to upload the letter of proof and Same day payment was just issued and all verified. Over the moon. Was expecting weeks long wait.

@Loubyloufootball fingers crossed!! They’ve said there’s ques and when it hits 15 weeks it goes into the final one before DM, which ours is in so I’m really hoping next week is it for us!💕

I posted on the old thread by mistake:

I cannot believe the telephone call I've just had with the DLA. I'm chasing up my twins renewals. Both filled in, popped in the brown envelope. The lady at the post office advised me to do special delivery but they could both go in the same special delivery envelope.

I saw on the post office tracking that the envelope had got there.

Calling up today for a progress check, one renewal is with a decision maker. The other there's no record of it ever being received, so the claim has ended! I explained to the man that that was impossible as they were in the same special delivery envelope. The thought of doing the forms all over again, and then the waiting for a decision is just so disheartening.

Could it off been scanned onto one claim? Instead of both? 😬. Dont know who id be more annoyed with, dla or post office 🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

Yea she has ehcp. Nursery is brilliant she goes to a special nursery and will be starting P1 in sept there. She does not mask at all she will be same in school as at home. She would look to be carried more at home and more meltdowns etc as she only goes for 3 hours she has diagnosis non verbal autism and a serve global development delay and sensory processing disorder she also is flight risk

@Fee89 I'm not sure as both renewal claims were in their own brown envelopes, so surely they'd be dealt with separately? I just cannot believe it.

I didn’t know that I could apply without dla HRM, my son gets LRM already so i probably could have got it a while ago 🤦‍♀️ definitely going to apply now, it will make life so much easier

I’d just like to take a moment to say;
This group has been my absolute saviour for months! At first I watched silently, assessing things and gauging how long my journey would be.
Today I received the best news, my son has been awarded. And it’s such a relief!
As parents we just want what’s best for our children, and those of us with sick children, special needs, mental health etc want to fight even harder. We are their voice and we know them better than anyone.
You are all amazing in this group, and I wish each and every one of you all the best in your individual journeys.
I shall be sticking around for a bit to see those awards come flooding in 💞

Wow that was very quick! I'm just over 3weeks waiting for DM to make their mind up 🤦‍♀️

Currently on hold to update bank details as switching banks my old one is due to close on Tuesday & to check if there’s an update. Hopefully I don’t get told off this time for asking for an update 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 scan date 24/01. Got a bad feeling we are being declined though!

@Kaz87 Wow mine didn't go to a decision maker they just asked for the letter to be uploaded. Could you try that? They just sent a link.

Feel so anxious as close to cry, but I need some closure with this at least certain date, time frame. Not another 'any time now' and another week passes by with nothing.
