Thank you..✨️ still on hold.. nearly 45 minutes. Even though my boys claim is unusual case because of that survivor's pension he gets because of his father's death, they shouldn't take it so ridiculously long. I'm a patient person but I have my limits as well 😑😔

@Waiting1901 hopefully you will have your decision soon not even reaching 20 week mark 🤞🏻 I started to call them only after 20 weeks of waiting and had a feeling they just put my boys claim aside to deal with it later and forgot about it.

Congratulations on all awards this week ❤️ scan date 6/2 I just braved a second call and it was alot more helpful then first one who wouldn't even check for me anything! This time been told it's with decision maker so wanted to ask please how long after for those of you that have been awarded Did it take after being with decision maker did you then find out outcome? I know every claims different but having like a rough idea for own peace of mind as feel so anxious. I have had to leave work due to child being off school this whole year because of their mental and physical health reasons and needing to buy things to help support recommendations from physiotherapy such as shower and rails etc.. That I just wouldn't be able to without extra support not to mention the extra electric costs being home all day and up in night and taxis to appointments etc.. Its so hard and feel for everyone else waiting or who have to go for MR but grateful for this thread and all of you as feel you can only understand how hard and worrying it is when in this position needing extra support and waiting to see if eligible 🤞 so thank you.

You must have patience of a saint. That's ridiculous the time you wer made wait.

Id say anything from few days upto 6 weeks roughly. It will boil down to if they need extra info and how long they take to respond 😬. Hopefully you hear within the next week though.......fingers are crossed for you xx

Mostly cars with my son too 😂 and god yes the sensory difficulties, same with brushing teeth and hair, changing nappy and absolutely hates his ears being touched.

Portage are brilliant and yes I’m the same, rather keep him home but being pushed to put him in nursery due to his sn. I know it’s probably best for him though and as you say can massively help towards an EHCP and other early support.

Great idea, bouncing/spinning can be so calming for them. Id love to have one in living room but there’s no space left 😂 hoping to find time to do the garden up properly soon, sensory garden and trampoline was part of the plan so your on my wavelength.

They only scanned it on the 9th (a week ago) but just curious as that says 4 weeks and iv been told 8 weeks 😬 xx

@Fee89 Thank you so much for reply that is helpful to know as if I have in head up to 6 weeks and then after that will call again at least I have a timescale to focus on and looks like I will be hanging around this thread for a while still yet and hoping to see lots of awards in mean time for everyone 🤞

Ah see you say you wont call again for another 6 weeks. But you will see others being awarded close to your date and you will itch to call 😂 x

Maybe give them a call back. State you have tracking that states it was delivered. They may re open and continue payments for you to send another renewal? X

I have no idea for how long I can wait anymore 😫 after 50 min of hold I was finally connected with young lady who can't see much, still with the case manager waiting for an advice to be back. She couldn't even see about what is that advice. So I got pretty much the same update as last week. I then asked her if it's with case manager that means it's not even with decision maker. She said case manager IS the decision maker. I explained that I know about what they wait that advice back and said I have been told by case manager that already three weeks ago, but every week passes.. nothing and same update. I lost it and close to tears said how much it causing stress, anxieties and panick attacks and my mental health is already damaged. She said the only thing she can do is apologise and do a mark how distressed I feel by this all delay and waiting with not knowing even the hint of what's the decision and when it will be finalised. I don't think it has been prioritised like an emergency.

I’m too scared to ring again in case they tell me off, only rang Monday and told to wait. I’m such a wimp 😂 don’t know how you all find the strength to keep calling x

@fee yeah quite possibly 😂 but I am one of them anxious callers with everything not just this it takes me whole day to build up courage and then call and put down a few times untill I manage to just do it. I'm fine with emails and sending messages but I just hate calls get so caffaffled and even the simplest question like what's your name dob will send me over edge and end up saying it wrong haha 🤣
