We were awarded on Wednesday and payment went in today, so I would say yours will be in tomorrow

Thank you so much. @MC2180 it's possible that you have been awarded ot just wanting the information "just in case" good luck

ADT13 · 21/05/2024 10:15

I received the same text as yesterday "We are still looking at your child’s DLA1 claim. When a decision is made, we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it."

Scan date 12/02

Yesterday when I called, the claim was not even with a DM. I won't be calling until next week on Monday.

Sleeplessi · 21/05/2024 10:24

Have many people heard yet from 02/02? I thought I had a scan date of 18/01 but on the latest letter it said 02/02 - I haven’t slept for 2 years, losing the plot clearly

i had the text on 13/05 saying they were looking at things and not to contact them

DS11 hasn’t been in school since Jan through EBSNA - diagnosed ASD - and I’m doing my finance job early mornings and late nights. But, just received the year end timetable and don’t know how I’m going to deliver it as normally I’d do the extra work to meet deadlines mornings and evenings so could cry...

Good luck to all for positive news for today!

I got that text on Monday last week & it went to a DM on the Friday if that's any help x

Hi all
does anyone know if your doing a change of circumstances do you still receive your original payments whilst waiting or do they stop until they have made a decision?
Thanks
Good Luck

Nothing so far, dear 🙃
I'm trying to put that at the back of my mind at least for today, it's my little boys birthday today, so focusing on that. But yes, it would be great birthday gift 🎁 if they would finally make that decision 🤞🏻

Matilde08 · 21/05/2024 12:26

Congratulations to the ones with awards💐🎉🥳 and good luck to everyone who's waiting 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Aussielover · 21/05/2024 12:32

@Waiting1901 I'd ask to speak to a manager because they cannot base the claim alone on waiting for them, what if they don't get it again?

I think a decision should be made on what you provided and nothing else, it's the documents they have to hand which is readily available and it is not fair making you wait. I am not expecting the same wait treatment.

I will ask to take it straight to tribunal if it gets to me like that

Tracy37x · 21/05/2024 13:06

Congratulations on all the new awards. I’ve just caught up…

I think I will ask to speak to manager I'll wait see if school receives it by Friday if not I'll ring up I sent her statement with claim. It just taking forever now I've to wait for school to send it back and it to be scanned in.

Can anyone help work out rates? I’ve got a pending payment due to go into my bank of £2128.10.
forms requested 15/12
form received 25/1

thanks ☺️

I'd say mrc as it's around 23 weeks ago you requested the forms

Does anybody know if I should be exempt from council tax now I receive dla for my son? I was told I should be and I informed my local council. They sent me a new bill saying I was now exempt and was in credit and will need to call for a refund . I rang and they are now saying since that bill they have received an updated statement from my universal credit which has increased due to the carer and disabled child elements so my council tax has actually tripled from what is was before because of my new income amount

My husband gets dla as well as our eldest and we pay full council tax don't get any discount for being on dla

Thank you I was just confused because they sent me a revised bill saying exempt because of the dla but then when they received my updated universal credit award with the extra elements on they increased my bill to triple the original amount 🤷🏼‍♀️
