I managed to get through after 30 minutes on hold, she was lovely who I spoke to after explaining I’m awaiting a decision but need to change my bank details she looked into it, said a decision maker is currently looking at it and she should be making a decision in next couple of days. I explained I was told last Thursday it is with a decision maker after getting a text message on 8/5 about still looking at claim. They tell you it’s with a decision maker if it’s been sent over to them in a pile and waiting to be looked at but it’s showing it’s currently open being looked at with all evidence I sent. She popped a note on to the decision maker of my new details and to let me know when a decision is made. I got a phone call from the decision maker who was absolutely amazing. She checked I requested to change bank details and asked for them again as they haven’t sent the new ones over yet, explained she’s made a decision for my son of HRC. Also explained hes not entitled to mobility part yet as he’s under 3 (he’s 22 months} which I knew and was fine about. She was requesting payment and will be sending a letter out confirming all details of award. Haven’t received a text confirming as she rang instead.
Just relived the wait is over, honestly thought it would be a decline due to his age, atleast now I can get my boy everything he needs to help him. ❤️ I honestly felt scared everytime I call them especially after being told off last time but I also kept thinking it’s more than likely won’t be the same person spoken to last time so I’ll just act dumb if something is said about me calling again. 😂
