I’m wondering the same question my anxiety is through the roof DD doesn’t attend a nursery/school setting due to safety concerns and 1 to 1 will be needed. She is 3.5 and still has the mind of a 6 month old unable to eat to feed herself due to choking risk, unable to talk, ride a bike, throw a ball the list is endless, daily meltdowns she would really benefit from HRM as currently we are unable to go anyway due to her sensory problems going anywhere is proving very difficult and stressful for her although she loves being outside too ☹️ I feel awful like she is trapped inside I just hope we all get some good news we all struggle so badly people don’t understand it’s mental and physical torture 🙏🏼

Edited

My boy is the same, my so isn't in nursery yet till September but we are under the Special Needs Early Years and we see them at a group every week so they do reports, assessments and review there, I'm hoping for Hrc due to day and night time care as he doesn't sleep during the night and is wide awake, but don't know when we can try and claim the and get HRM, fingers crossed that we all fond out soon and fingers crossed we get what our kids truly deserve as it is so hard work ☺️

HRM is from 3 years old and LRM is from 5. Did you fill in the mobility part? If not wait until you are awarded the care element then ask to apply for the mobility x

Oh my wish you'd of filled the mobility bless you 💗 I hope they do add it regardless, but as soon as you get awarded ask for a COC and explain you didn't know, EVEN BETTER RING TOMORROW, ask for a manager, ask if mobility can be considered, and maybe ask anyone you can to get supported letter and get them sent first class!! Xx

Forgot to mention the SMI I was to shocked you didn't apply for mobility, Google SMI RULES, and if you don't get it follow the chart and quote each point when answer the question, on how the meet smi rules if that makes sense, there's also VUW However I've not read the rules, but that might benefit you both, please research, and STATE when ring you know your child meets the rules of SMI xxx

Yess get on it in morning, and state all that, they can add notes to your claim that you've rang and said they meet smi, I'm not sure on the age, my son is 7 and if I'd of known sooner I'd of applied but didn't, I think we are 12weeks @Fee89 😂? Nearly 13 maybe, my letter stated it should of been 11weeks to complete so I rang and complained and explained my situation, we are stuck in the house, because of safety issues, and how it's impacting our life massively, it's now been requested to be put as urgent and I should hear this week 🤞 this was Friday xx

Is this coc your at 13 weeks for. Originally I was told 11 then 2nd letter said 15 weeks then phoned last week to be told 13 to 14 weeks for coc. It's so stressful having already waited so long for a decision then to have to do coc cos things have become worse in the time it's taken them.
