I didn’t want to ask if your child was a girl but I knew she was - they mask so well, it’s so hard for them to fit in. School see them as being compliant, the perfect student but don’t understand the struggle it takes to get them in to school in the first place and that when they’re home they are disregulate, angry, overwhelmed etc. Try and have a restful weekend and then back to it on Monday xx

Yeah she's a girl haha, they really do and it's awful how they get missed because not many school are aware of masking or they are and just ain't bothered. It's exactly that with schools and it feels like they don't believe you when you try and tell them don't it? Sadly they don't see what happens when they are overwhelmed and disregulated. That's exactly what I plan on doing (as much as I can anyway haha), I hope you manage to have a nice weekend and get some good news by Monday xx

She was so horrible! When I was reading out my son's NI she said ' you NEEED to come CLOSER!!' I told her how much more closer do you need the phone when it's right next to my ear! She then said, how many times must you be told to wait 20 weeks? Which caused me to respond with, then dumb people like you shouldn't be sending out letters stating 'upto 15 weeks' if that isn't the case!
I cried sooo much after as I hate being confrontational 😭

I have it recorded myself so, I am trying to find an email where I can contact DWP with the video attached as a complaint.

i can't believe they would hire someone like that as a call handler. I was already disheartened as I had not heard anything, said previously I am happy for others that have been awarded don't be me wrong just upsets me a little that my scan date is 04/01 and I've still not had anything.
So that little hope I had when I called, shattered everything all of it 😔 x

No don't say that your boy deserves it but like some one on here already said that you should have put complaint in and say that the service is absolutely appaling. You should call on Monday and demand speaking to a manager if they have no updates for you ❤️

I have recorded the call myself on a separate phone, I want to send it to them 😭
honestly my moods just off, I don't mean to be so miserable but it really does knock you when you're waiting and also have shitty miserable call handlers xx

Called today and finally have a decision, HRC and LRM waited 17 weeks all together. Not sure if anyone else is still waiting from December but hang in there, I honestly thought it would get declined.

Yeah I know what you mean that's why I was so resilient about calling them as I really worried about them just fobbing me off i couldn't handle the stress anymore. Its good that you have had recorded the call sure there must be a separate option for complaints ? Xx

im getting quite worried now as i have seen a lot of people get two letters/texts, scan date 19/01 and had one letter dated 7th of March and had nothing since then, so im now worried it may be a decline. Reassurance is needed please😅

The best way is to do it in writting. State the time off call and date. They can pull up all calls so you dont need to send the recording. If in writting it gets taken more serious and can be put in the workers file. The reason they ask for letter is due to staff claiming bullying in work place and false emails being sent when it comes to firing staff. If you type the letter, remember to sign your name in pen at the end. Does that make sense? 🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

State your name, NI, address and childs ref. When talking about your child use initals due to safeguarding as its a complaint and could be seen by others. So example Fee Salmon would be F.S. Give date off call, time off call and call length. Also date it with todays date xx
