@TiredTilly @Emmajm85 8ve just got of the phone and they sent of for my nino on the 13th of March it's still not back yet she said the notes on it say award is likely but the DM can't process the claim without the nino xx

To be told you actually have a decision and then take that away and it hasnt even gone to a dm yet is appauling, I would complain also. Coz that cant even be a slight mistake, they are outright lying to you.
Im not impressed Ive been told it went to a dm on a certain date, and then others say its not with a dm yet. If I was told I had a decision when I havnt I would kick up

I’ve asked to complain a team leader will apparently call within the next 3 hours. I’ve been told twice a decision made past 3-4 weeks it’s been with a dm then today been told that a decisions been made called the number what takes forever and they said it’s not with anyone at all. It’s ridiculous it’s stressful enough looking after a disabled child never mind having to jump through hoops to get help and to be told something completely different on every call

Not even parking anymore, just may aswell crash because it feels like il be here forever 😂

Just called scan date 6/12 was told a few days ago it was with a DM but today when I called the 512 route she said it's in holding pile🤯

A team leader has just called apparently they won’t actually go to a DM unless they’re going to be looked at that day in case a DM goes off sick. Cases are taking 15 weeks 😂 and ours is still in a holding pile apparently they’re going to listen into the calls to see what I’ve been told

Everytime I ring I ask if it’s been seen by a dm or if there is a decision, they keep telling me it hasn’t been seen by anyone as they haven’t got an NI number, they will process the claim after they get an NI number then it will be given to a dm. But that’s just my case. There are others on this thread who have been told that their cases have been seen by a dm they just need a NI to process the award so I honestly don’t know🙁

mine was sent off on the 19th march so I will be way after you 😅. But I probably won’t be getting an award I can feel it, dm hasn’t even seen mine 🙁

Did the DM call you or did they just award?

I really really hope, with your scan date, they have looked it already and made a “likely” decision and so have requested the NINO before they can move forward in confirming an award. I could be reading into it all wrong but fingers crossed 🤞 xxxx

So just over 2 weeks and you’re still none the wiser, it’s a joke. I saw another lady on here say she checked with the people who issue the Nino’s and they’re up to date with all requests for new numbers. I think it’s the team that actually request the numbers that are behind. So the DM sent it off to them on the 13th to request a Nino, but they probably haven’t actually even requested it yet.

I can’t get any info from them as to when mine was even requested. So god knows!
Im so fed up with the whole process now xx

Not sure why Facebook have posted that as I’ve just got off the phone to them with an update .. was only on hold 25 mins! scanned 11/12. He said it’s currently with ‘her’ now ie dm lol he asked if my sons mental health referral has been accepted as back when I applied he was still on waiting list.. but now he’s been seen and is on there pathway too so I said yes .. so he said not send in the evidence as he doesn’t want to delay my claim even more , but said he is going to write a note so ‘she’ can see on there today that’s it’s priority and that he will also make a note about the outcome of mental health referral so she can see that too. He said due to bank holiday she might not give your decision until after the weekend but they are working Saturday and Sunday. To keep an eye out for a payment or a text if not heard anything by Friday next week to call again. Seems positive fingers crossed as it’s stressing me out so much I’ve had to give up my nursing job because he’s on two hour timetable at school , currently deciding to pull him out he’s only 7 and autistic and going through so many more assessments , hardly sleeps I was going to work on two hours sleep it’s nice to have to time off with him but not having my wages is really stressful right now as that was the majority of my income as a single mother uc just topped up. Never had someone so lovely ! Feeling positive fingers crossed for you all x

@LancsMcG yes my son was awarded hrc, lrm. I didn’t receive a text or call. Just phoned this morning to be told the outcome.

8/12 I had to call again as its bank holiday coming up 🤣 she said new claims are currently taking up to 20 weeks so I asked if she could check if there was any update at all, she said she would have a look. Apparently mine has been assigned to someone today but decision has not been made so she thinks it's in the pile to be looked at today 🤷🏻‍♀️ the wait continues....

Yup I’m fed up too. I feel like just leaving it alone now try get it in the back of my head. It’s hard enough looking after kids with extra needs, and they just want to make it harder for us.

yeah mine has been seen by a dm apparently. Yesterday I was told they’d written a note of award is likely, but can’t do anything else now until the number comes through. I’m not bothering to ring now unless it’s to make a complaint 😂 xx

Mental health is awful isn't, I de-registered my 13yo last November after she missed 2 years due to depression/anxiety/self harm, no help from her school, they said she had a place with their counsellor to try and help but that they wouldn't let her access them unless she was in school full time and they wouldn't authorise anymore absence even though it was all medical , with 2 years worth of medical proof, crazy.x

Been here since about part 25,
Scan date 12/12, rang for an update and to see if extra evidence has been scanned at 1pm on hold only about 35 mins lovely lady on phone said they have been scanned this morning (posted last Friday normal 2nd class envelope) it’s with a DM now so should be in next few days she also told me there taking around 15 weeks to to sort claims out.

hopefully not long now for everyone.

Ya I don’t think ringing all the time will push it any further to be honest. I initially did think that, but all the times I’ve rang they are telling me the same thing. Going to wait till I hit the 20 week mark then call xxx

Yes, surely after 20 weeks they will be more inclined to get it sorted 😅 I’m 19 weeks tomorrow so getting close xx
