Oh it shouldn’t be long now then hopefully till you get ur back payment they told me on my journal about my statements being adjusted and then how much i was getting backdated and when it would be xx

I didn't ring at all. Found out when I received the back pay (at 16 weeks 4 days), which was much less nerve-wracking than waiting hours on the phone 🤣

Got my award letter at exactly 17 weeks which stated that the decision was made at 16 weeks 1 day.

Hi I applied for the same needs for my son, severe autism, adhd, global developmental delay. I didn’t send in much evidence either. Just diagnosis letter, statement from nursery he has 1-1 and salt report. My scan date is 29/12. Dla is needs based by the way and it depends on who’s desk it lands on also xx

Has anybody sent additional evidence in the form of a written statement from yourself, my son has had an additional referral started by school for ADHD (currently not mentioned on the form) and we are also under an OT for toilet issues (referral for this was mentioned in original application but as he was borderline report doesn’t state what we are continuing to see her for as the original referral is a separate issue to this ) but I don’t have any evidence from them as of yet for this only my words (which I’m not very good at getting in to paper) to tell them what’s going on until the referral is finished by school and a bottom wiping advice sheet for me to help him at the last appointment. My son is 9 😞 I feel I’m starting to worry I haven’t done him justice on the original application and I’m 15 weeks now so going off the 16 weeks I’m thinking of getting this in the post in the morning if it is a suitable way to submit additional information that is not professional evidence? X

Has anyone been awarded without evidence? My 4 y/o dd hasn't been diagnosed yet as she's still on the waiting list for ND (3 year list in my area) her teacher wrote a comment saying she has a 1-1 at nursery as she needs constant supervision as doesn't have any awareness of danger and I have sent her ILP in, but I don't have any formal diagnosis or s&l letters yet, so worrying it will be declined? I did explain she needs constant supervision day and night due to her no awareness of danger and limited speech? Would this be enough?
Scan date 15/12

I have a pending payment of £1099.60 to my account - really shocked as was convinced we would not get it (daughter has ADHD and autism). I send the form on November 11th. Any idea what this means rate wise? Is this middle rate? Have had not letter or any other confirmation regarding the application.

Sent off additional information a few days ago. They haven’t received it yet but I am in the queue for DM. 15 weeks yesterday. If they receive additional information afterwards do they review the claim or just leave is as is?

I’ve just checked my bank and have a pending payment of £1322 I can’t work out the element. He is only 2 (3 in May) so don’t think mobility included as he’s too young. My scan date was 15/12. Can anyone work this out?

I have no idea how it’s done so quickly he doesn’t have a diagnosis and I’ve only rang twice about his birth cert. I hope this means things are moving quickly for everyone else still waiting. Good luck to you all xx

When did u ring up and ask for the forms? It goes from that date, unless u printed them off yourself

What was the day you requested forms? You have the same scan date as me congratulations on your award did you no that it was with a decision maker

No I just printed them and posted on 5/12 but all letters are scan date 15/12. And no I had no idea it was with decision maker I rang last Friday asking about NI number cos I didn’t realise he already had one cos of child benefit and on that call they said it was on holding pile and I could be waiting up to 20 weeks

Congratulations I work that out as high rate care I belive but if you ring tomorro they will clarify this and ooo I might give a ring tomorro hopefully mines with your decision maker this waits a nightmare x

just hope its sorted soon as I wana stop stressing about all of this and be done with it!

Does anybody know if DMs contact you first before going to the school for extra info if they need it? It’s been with DM since Fri but I had very little evidence although she has adhd assessment this Sunday and waiting for a date for an autism assessment which I sent proof of. I didnt put anyone down for further info but I don’t know if they can contact school any way and if they do, will they just do it or advise that she case? The school have not been great at all so im panicking that’s what is going on behind the scenes and the school will just hinder it all!

Aw I hope not I just kept messaging and messaging all the time been twice a day or more if they didn’t respond to the 1st message I’d send the same again and again and they they’d respond aha

I don't know whether they do or not, I have this feeling too!! I sent off my sons SEN plan a week ago and hope it'll be there before it gets to a DM 🤞🏽🤞🏽 I put my sons schools details and his health visitor on there aswell xx
