@KatexCR so I've just got through spoke to a lovely lady still waiting on the child reference number I asked if it's with a DM and she said yes there is a decision but they can't carry on with the final part untill the reference number comes through x

🤦‍♀️ 'sake!!! How annoying is that? What was she called? I had Kim on Friday, she was lovely and really informative. Yesterday just pushed me over the edge.
Feel awful I shouted at the bloke I spoke to this morning, but it was born out of sheer frustration. A teething 5 month old and not sleeping last night with my 9 year old having tachysensia moments all night 😭🥴🤯 x

Long time lurker here 🙈 my dd got refused on 5/3/24 after waiting 20 weeks the reasons was ridiculous was like they didnt even read her claim form and just wanted to get through their back log so i sent a MR in on the 15/03/24 does anyone know how long they are takeing with MR

No my daughter has her NINo. Ours is just a new claim. The bloke yesterday said my claim is at 18 weeks...funny that coz its 16 weeks yesterday 🤦‍♀️ hence my need to call them yhis morning because I was left not knowing whether I was coking or going lol x

Apparently they are taking 11 weeks, or so I have read on here.
I bet that is really annoying...I am dreading getting the same conclusion. Its not fair...they make more work for themselves this way, it's ridiculous. Good luck x

@Nams2828 I started our MR on the 6th Feb, was told 6weeks then was told its 8 weeks that it goes to DM I will be ringing at the end of the week

My scan date 14-12-23 I’ve just called for an update!! Possibly the worst phone call ever!! However my claim is with a decision maker 🤞 hopefully a decision soon!! X

We was declined too on the same date no actual reasons. I feel they never even read hers too as she also self harms when overwhelmed. I’ve just sent off our reconsideration too, done 5 pages extra why I don’t agree with the decision plus extra evidence. There is no way they even read the original form. hoping it doesn’t take too long. This process is so long and added stress. Hope you get the outcome your daughter deserves.

Oh god another dreaded wait then this is torture. Yes we was advised my her pediatrician to apply as she has severe asthma she is on 5 diffrent medication day and night for it she constantly ill as her amune system is so low school are constantly sending her home because have given her the max amount of medication they are allowed to in one day she also has hyper mobility with slight inward turns on both feet but they said she is no different to a in their words (MORMAL 5 YEAR OLD🤦‍♀️) and needs no extra care or mobility needs because she dosent have behavior problems and is not a risk to her self or others absolutely shocking

My scan date is 7/12, the lady I just spoke to said mines with a dm and I should here by the 26th April....hope it's alot sooner 🤞

How old is your little one?
I'm convinced my daughters claim will be declined, she's 13, has extremely poor mental health, anxiety, panic attacks if she leaves the house,hasn't attended school for 2 years, self harms daily, I have to spend hours daily making sure there is nothing sharp anywhere in the house, if she can't find sharp objects she punches walls untill her knuckles break so needs physical restraint aswell, I sent about 30pages of medical notes but I'm not holding out much hope 😬 x

My eldest was like this. When she was 11 i applied for dla for her and was refused. I flipped. They focused on one part of the claim and not the adhd/asd. I done MR printed out what adhd and asd is. Stated we have police safety plan and discharge letters from hospital where she was self harming. I sent a detailed diary in the original claim and could tell that hadnt been read. A manager called me told me an investigation was opened after i requested a MR as the claim should never of declined. She was awarded mc and lm until she was 16. Now shes on pip (17) she gets the highest rate on both.

Just called, had the most helpful woman on the phone apparently they’re looking at my sons claim now so should hear back very soon. Told me some are taking up to 20 weeks at the minute so to call back if not heard by second of may but should hear with the next day or two

@Alfsnan84 It sounds like you have sent plenty to them. If they do decline just be really petty and spell everything out to them. Re add supporting evidence etc. It really winds me up how they treat claims. Im currently waiting on new claim for my youngest she is now type 1 diabetic, referred for adhd and asd. They dont live our life and im sick of having to prove every day is a battle while walking on egg shells. Like money is going to make all our issues go away 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've already tried again. On hold for 30 mins and then the little one kicked off so had to give up 😭. I'll try in the morning again lol x
