Good luck to you all this week lovely mummies ❤️

LancsMcG · 25/03/2024 13:17

Oh my goodness....so I was awarded LRC back in mid Feb (after a scan date of 19/10) and I put in a MR straight away, I've since sent off some further evidence which was scanned on last week (thank goodness - I sent it to be signed for)...but this lovely guy was new ... he didn't have a clue on dates, saying my scan date was 20 november (which it wasn't) then it takes 20 weeks (which he says I'm on week 18), but then I said no - I was awarded back in mid Feb and it's my MR, but he was insistent that it goes to the DM in 2 weeks (when it reaches 20 weeks) - so these new people don't have the foggiest....

Aussielover · 25/03/2024 13:18

@Chickapea77 @Mamadesgarcons what are your coc for? I'm also coc x it's unfair they are refusing everyone x I submitted lots of evidence from NHS to support mine x

He got a ADHD diagnosis and learning disability. He is autistic and deaf in one ear so his balance is poor. Send in a lot of documents from Cahms disability it really included everything with his behaviour, health, school etc so they had no reason to decline I can see they didn’t read it.

mummyto3littlebeautys · 25/03/2024 13:32

hi could anyone tell me how long the waiting times are for COC please. My boy currently has an ongoing award for HRC and LRM. X

Definitely think this is generic, 15 weeks tomorrow and first txt ive ever got from them

I had this text on 6/3 and 11/3 for two claims and both had decisions made on 22/3

I had a text to say we are looking at the claim . 15 weeks tomorrow.

Aussielover · 25/03/2024 13:41

@Mamadesgarcons they make more work by not reading stuff, we send it because it's professional input, I don't know why they decline when they have so much I'm going tribunal if they refuse me x @mummyto3littlebeautys I think 17 weeks are you trying to change the low mobility x

KerBear12 · 25/03/2024 13:46

Week 21 scan date 30/10 - had a text through today to say that we’ve been awarded!
No pending payments in the bank yet but will try and contact them to see what rates were awarded.

TiredTilly · 25/03/2024 13:51

Tangerin · 25/03/2024 13:00

Ahhh. No wait, did I get my days wrong? I rang and spoke to someone who told me they would text me that day or the day after.
Nothing. Then I rang the day after and the person said no decision. I explained the situation and what I had been told and they said they would call me back. I was certain they wouldn't. But she did call back in the afternoon and told me of the award. I thought this was Thursday but maybe it was Friday?
So I don't know what was going on because the DM had my claim for 4 weeks!
I am not sure it is the right award but I can't deal with it all again! It is MRC but I suppose that covers some night needs I hope? But we have day and night needs. Agh. I just want to move on but renewal will come back eventually.

If a renewal is due in a year, I wouldn’t do MR. I would just explain even more on the renewal form and how he should have HRC last year.
how old is the child ?x

Mummato4minime · 25/03/2024 13:58

I had to hang up due to having to collect my son as he’s on restricted timetable 🤦🏻‍♀️but on another note checked my emails he’s been accepted for Merlin’s magic wand for Lego land Windsor resort ! We only applied last week! He’s buzzing so lifted my spirits of having to hang up on dla lol x

TiredTilly · 25/03/2024 14:00

@kristie198 so I decided to call, wish I didn’t 🙁. First 2 people couldn’t find my details on the system then they transferred me to someone else who eventually found it. She was a lovely lady, said my case was prioritised on the 18/03, then got sent for NI number on the 19/03 and that could take couple of weeks. She said just estimate it could go to dm 5/04. I gasped a dm hasn’t seen it?!?! It’s been like almost 5months! I told her I know some peoples cases have been with DMs waiting for NI numbers. She said impossible it won’t be with a dm without NI number as we can’t even process the claim to go to a dm without the NI number. She also mentioned if it helps there are people with scan dates in September who are still waiting for NI numbers. She was lovely I felt out of all of the call handlers I have spoken to, this lady sounded the most truthful and took her time explaining everything.
the wait is too much 🙁

It is isn't it I'm going to ring again on Thursday x

Mummato4minime · 25/03/2024 14:14

So girls… after having to hang up earlier I just called back using the ‘512’ instead and the lady answered within 60seconds !!! Record timing lol , she said it’s still with DM though 🫣how long do these decisions take 🤦🏻‍♀️

mummyto3littlebeautys · 25/03/2024 14:14

@Aussielover yes he’s been diagnosed with smi now so I’ve sent off his full diagnosis report today! They will probably refuse but it’s worth a try he’s not loosing anything in the meantime. He 💯 meets the criteria. Thank you for letting me know the waiting times. X

MimiRae · 25/03/2024 13:17

Well this is so good to hear that you don’t feel that way because so many women are so torn with the mum/work balance as I know I have been and it’s so true what they say that the only place you are irreplaceable is at home ❤️ let me know how you get on this week 😬🫶🏼xxx

Absolutely!! Thank you lovely.
Not heard anything today, might call Wednesday if I've not heard anything. I'll let you know. Have you heard anything? X

My child has been getting MRC and then LRM from early age. Now he is in secondary in SEN base his teachers told me he should have HRM because he really needs a blue badge so they can take him out safely (we gave up on that a long time ago as it always ends in tears and dangerous situations).
She was extremely surprised he didn’t have the highest rates as his needs are so substantial and he needs 121 if not 221 care in school.
I am not holding my breath though now that I see all claims seem to be rejected. Did send lots of information, educational statement and what not but yeah, it all seems a bit arbitrary.

Alright hun. Can you ask them if it’s with a dm even if you don’t have a NI number. Because other people seem to have there case already seen without NI. I don’t know if they are lying to me. xx

KatexCR · 25/03/2024 14:30

Congrats @KerBear12 finally a result!!! X

Yes I shall I'm pretty sure it can go to a DM as that's why we have temporary child reference numbers starting with cl but I will ask he told me to ring Friday but that's a bank holiday so Thursday it is lol

Carrotstick123 · 25/03/2024 14:42

I've just got through and been told a decision has been made but they can't see what that decision is, and I should wait for my letter 😬 Scan date 01/12.

I did too!! Literally picked up in about 1 minute if that. The guy I spoke to tho didn’t have a clue. He just kept saying ‘well I can see it’s registered on the system!’ I was thinking hmm yeh it has been for 16 weeks lol … he then said I should know by 16th april… think he just picked out a date!

Mummato4minime · 25/03/2024 14:59

@Keepgoing88 its crazy how fast they answer just by clicking a different bloody number to get through! The lady was quite nice just asked if I was chasing a new claim then explained .. just hoping it isn’t too much of a wait now 🫣 mines been with a DM for a few weeks now .. but I’m seeing on the Facebook group a lot of December awards are now going through so fingers crossed for everyone waiting ! They are literally clueless though just say anything to get us off the phone I’m sure ! 🙄
