I was on hold for 40mins this morning but had to hang up due to another appointment. Came on here after and saw the post above about pressing 1 for a new claim and then press 2 and got through straight away (thank you for that 😁) got through to a lovely man who told me my claim has been awarded hr care Lr mobility. My scan date is 4/12.

Hi, scan date 30/01. Iv just been on hold for over an hour. I only wanted to check they had recieved the extra info i sent and to add something to the claim. Got lovely lady (guess that makes up for being on hold) she checked and the extra info has been added. She then goes on to ask if anyone has given me info on the claim, no. She then tells me its not with anyone yet then asked if id like a rough guide when it should be completed by i said go on then (let's see what rubbish is said) she says by end of May i will recieve a text message.

Ive just received that still looking at ur claim text aswell! Saw it was from DWP and got really excited phaha oh well

My scan date is 22/12, I think your right, I'm expecting this text to come next week when i am14/15 weeks. Although some have said they've never received one... that will probably end up being me too lol

My COC has been refused Scan date 04/12. Guess I’m here for longer! Doing a MR

I have updates. Finally someone called me back! Awarded. The relief.
I never got a text message, even though I was told I would, I should get 25 weeks payback, I think! Because the problem is that the person who rang me spoke so quickly that I am not sure of dates of award ending at all. And she said something else that I didn't hear at all. But I was too stressed.
I have to wait for a letter and the money now. I think I was awarded on Thursday so I expect the money on Wednesday and I hope the letter come soon because if the award is only for 1 year I can't cope with renewal so soon!
Carers allowance still hasn't called me or written to me and that has been 10 weeks now.... Ahhh.
A part of me can't relax until I get the letter and the money though! 😭

I got mine at 14 weeks as well (4/12), but I got mine with a load of people that were a week or so ahead of me (end of November). Think they automatically send them from a date group. X

That's amazing! Great news 👏. I'm 4/12 too but I'm not ringing for a few days yet as was told on Friday that's its with a cm so will see. I might have to try the 512 approach haha x

Mine took 6 calendar days last time. From Wednesday to Tuesday and I think this time it will be the same.

So sorry, after all the wait… mine is a CoC, I thought it would be a straightforward yes but I see here they all get rejected. Soul destroying. I still have weeks to hear.

Yaaay what a relief ! I hope you’ve been awarded the right amount as deserved. Hopefully it’s not just for a year that would be ridiculous. So the guy you spoke to on Friday didn’t see that you were awarded on Thursday? Bit strange xx

Ahhh. No wait, did I get my days wrong? I rang and spoke to someone who told me they would text me that day or the day after.
Nothing. Then I rang the day after and the person said no decision. I explained the situation and what I had been told and they said they would call me back. I was certain they wouldn't. But she did call back in the afternoon and told me of the award. I thought this was Thursday but maybe it was Friday?
So I don't know what was going on because the DM had my claim for 4 weeks!
I am not sure it is the right award but I can't deal with it all again! It is MRC but I suppose that covers some night needs I hope? But we have day and night needs. Agh. I just want to move on but renewal will come back eventually.

Well this is so good to hear that you don’t feel that way because so many women are so torn with the mum/work balance as I know I have been and it’s so true what they say that the only place you are irreplaceable is at home ❤️ let me know how you get on this week 😬🫶🏼xxx
