Once it goes to DM what is the average wait time for decision?

Hello 👋 Yes I remember feeling the same. I got a letter to acknowledge receipt but it took at least a couple of weeks I think. I can’t remember exactly when I sent it off but remember thinking I should call them if I didn’t hear but then I got a letter.

Also I’m 15/12 not 12/12- got that slightly wrong!

@Clingfilm I sent mine the 27/2 didn't hear anything so I rang and they scanned it in 6/3 still not received a letter or text 😐

My scan date is 12/01 and so far had two letters. Mine is a CoC though.

Does anyone know what number DLA call off?

Iv just rang 15/12 on hold 57 minutes they have deffo got new call handlers that don’t have a clue he nearly did the calll without security questions 🤦‍♀️ to then not answer my questions just kept saying it goes to a decision maker at 16 weeks next week they then take 6 weeks to make a decision he didn’t seem to have a clue he was very slow

0800 or withheld x

The call handler was lovely at the start then it was like he got a personality transplant and turned into a twat, he was so abrupt when he got through all the security, he questioned me that much I thought he was gona ask where the child was conceived, then literally said " it'll be April some time, that's all I can say " hahaha this April, next April who knows?! I honestly I really do give up this time.

I know he said it's been moved to top priority we will see if that makes any difference 😂

I'm really hoping to hear this week, scan date 01/12. But I haven't got it in my to be on hold for hours again, so waiting it out.

ok, just got off the phone to a nice lady, apparently its not with a decision maker, its still in a holding pile..... Sont know why was told before it is?...

This is exactly what I was told and he blamed it on that it could have been a new call handler. A lad told me last week that mines was with a DM and I said is it actually with a DM or in a pile and he said no a DM, they're so full of shit it's unbelievable, then just says it'll be in April sometimes, that literally just encourages people to ring more cus they're left dangling.

I think we had the same call handler
They've told me as it's with a DM then no point sending in extra evidence now as the decision should be made before that point so that must mean they are looking at it but I have no faith anymore that I will get a decision

Just had a message saying they’re still looking at my son’s claim and no need to contact. Hoping to hear something soon, he should be a definite award as he’s peg fed 😩 the wait is awful

Just had that text as well mine was posted 11/12 after phoning for it end November.
