I completely agree! I just can’t believe the time it’s finally with a decision maker is the time she’s gone home for 2 weeks 🌚 what are the bloody odds! Jesus I’ve got to laugh! I feel so anxious now though I can’t lie! Im on hold to them now and I’m not really sure why 😆 I was going to see if they could email her instead for proof? I just feel we’re so close with it 😩 he did ask why I filled the forms in in August but didn’t send them until November which I replied because I’m just up the wall with the children and their needs 🌚 so hoping he asked that for backdating purposes? Wishful thinking maybe 😆xx

I guess it’s a little relief knowing that there will be some sort of award right ?

It is but it shouldn’t be this stressful, let’s face it anyone applying for this benefit is already under more pressure and stress so why add to it. Whole system needs to be more transparent and digitalised x

On hold again, I dunno why tbh lol was told start of the week with a DM, 12/12 scan date ( seen people with later dates awarded & I know I'm still before the 16 week wait but we will see 😂 ) but I have sent a diagnosis so shouldn't really be with one for very long if you go off your own common sense as they shouldn't have to contact anyone, but there's no logic, and each call handler tells you something different, il update though if get through before they close to give you all a laugh at what joke they tell me next 😅

Exactly this!!! And I think most people by the time they get an award, they don't have any fight left to complain, they're just relieved its over!

Its been with decision maker for 2 weeks and he said I should have a decision by next Friday

I will phone next Friday and be told the same thing no doubt

Got through to a vile older woman who said they’ve written to the school for confirmation and need reply by 5th April so I explained we’re now on Easter holidays so she won’t get it until the 8th April so she said we’ll all she can do is write that on the system and hope for the best so back to waiting for weeks 😣 so draining this is!

I am 30/10 and still waiting to hear they’ve made a decision been told it’ll be next week 🙄🫠

I hope so! It’s such a wait for us all isn’t it! I got off the phone and burst out crying but I’m 6 months pregnant and my older daughter who’s 12 is currently having an autistic meltdown and screaming at me and I just feel burnt out with it all. Why is it so hard to get some support - life is tough enough as a SEN mum 😮‍💨❤️
