Pop a note in your journal and ask for it to be backdated. The case manager will refer it to the DM for late reporting of a change, but it'll be allowed as you couldn't have reported sooner. Same goes for the caring element, if you've applied for that.

@Thejackrussellsrule i asked what additional amount this would be and would it be back dated I got this reply…

The disabled child element for DLA HRC is currently £456.89.

I have referred your backdating request from 03/11/23 for a decision.

You will be notified on your journal once the decision is completed.

They've referred it to a Decision Maker, it'll be allowed, just hang in there!

I've phoned 3 times this week 🤣 been told end of this month, beginning of next month and not with anyone for a decision 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm not holding out any hope of hearing anything yet though but I will call again Monday to see what the latest story is on it 🤣 are you phoning next week? x

🤣🤣 the amount of stories is untrue. I take what they say with a pinch of salt but the lady I had yesterday offered loads of information without me even asking. She said it's gone to a cm and that it can take up to 2 weeks for them to look at it as they get given a pile to work through. But it's normally 7 to 10 days and the payment is authorised that day. She said if I've not heard anything or money hasn't dropped in account in 7 to 10 days then call back for them to escalate it. She sounded in the know, unlike a lot of them. So I'm taking that as a positive haha!
If I've not heard by Wednesday I'm going to call before the long weekend starts....and then I'll probably be fuming in time for Easter 🤣🤣.
I reckon yours will go next week then if mine went this week. X

God yeah, totally! I sometimes get to bed andxwonder how the hell I just got through that day 🤣. I work (on mat leave still) but I think I'm going to have to give it up and be a SAHM, my job requires a lot from me and I can't do it from home so I feel guilty that I am not there for her as much as she needs me. Its made me so depressed 😔. I'm relishing in my mat leave and the thought of goong back is making me so anxious that it's all going to cause mayhem.
Aww a little boy 😍. We have 2 girls at home but I have 2 older boys from my previous marriage, but they're a lot older now and flown the nest. They still need their mama though 😍.
A lunatic 🤣🤣 that was me, I wanted to explode at everyone when I was pregnant. I'm a nightmare when I'm pregnant...apparently 🤦‍♀️🤣.
Oh it's just ridiculous timing isn't it? Surely they have to take into consideration that its half term and they're asking for info when she isn't available to do so. I'd ring again and ask them to put that in as mitigating circumstances x
