Hi just after some advice please, scan date 22/12. My daughter has just been accepted onto the ASD & ADHD pathway. School is the one who referred us and they also wrote in the person who knows you part. Would you go to the bother of sending the letters in as supporting evidence by special delivery, hope and stress about it being scanned in time, or just keep it in case I have to do an MR?

My scan date was 7/12,
I sent extra evidence off yesterday special delivery, I thought it would have been to late after 15weeks but the lady I spoke to today said they'd received it and it had been scanned on to the system with my claim already!

Thank you! I also sent my forms special delivery 21/12 and they were scanned 22/12. Right I'm on it tomorrow!!

Could you remind me of the information that needs putting on each piece of evidence please. Presuming full name & NI number. Is there anything else I need to put on there?

I put child's name, date of birth, NI number and address,
And also a cover note on separate piece of paper stating what I was sending in x

The joys of Dwp call centres….scan date 28/11

Called 19/3 and told with DM since 15/3

called today 21/3 and told they think a decision was made and a text sent at 12.35 but they can’t see any info

Called at the end of the day to be told still not looked at but with DM since 19/3. Said I was told it was sent to DM 15/3 and said no hat was holding pile, was actually allocated 19/3

They wonder why they get questioned, 3 calls 3 different stories 🤦‍♀️😂

New to these threads! I sent off a claim end of November, I’ve only had one letter in that time which was a few weeks ago to say they were looking into it. Seems other have had more letters or texts than that?

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve phoned. I still haven’t managed to get through and many times have been on hold for over 45 mins to them be cut off which is frustrating!

Anyway, I phoned today and it was an automated response along the lines of ‘you will receive your letter with your award amounts by the end of April, you do not have to do anything further but if you wish to speak to someone please hold’. Has anyone else had the same, as it’s the first time I’ve heard it?

I will 😬. I tried ringing before but it got to 5 so hung off lol x

It's just a generic message, after that ends it goes on to the options to press in order to speak to someone .

Hi all, not sure if anyone can help. I was awarded HRC/LRM at the end of Feb (SD 26/10) I updated UC to let them know and received my first payment this month with disabled child element added. I’ve asked about the backpay and just told it’s with a DM and there’s no time frame but just wondered how long people waited? Thanks :)

@Shaf89 @Emma2345 I had a missed call from DWP whilst on school run, thought I’d quickly check my journal and it was from a message to say they’ve issued payment & should be in bank in next 2 working days! How about you two? Xxx

Has anyone got a scan date before 20/11 that hasn’t had a decision or is still in the holding pile? I know @kristie198 & @Tangerin have.
Seeing January dates being awarded is really disheartening. I am glad the children are getting what they deserve, but can’t help be annoyed with DWP for how they are doing this 🙁

Scan date 29/11 had a text on Wednesday to say we had been awarded DLA. 16 weeks wait time. So I rang up Thursday 9am, straight through and they've said it's for HRC and LRM. I can't believe it, it's been such torture waiting and such a long journey to get this far. Keep your chins up ladies and keep fighting to get the help our kids need. Best of luck.

Woop my boy got awarded,had a payment gone in last night even though when i called lst friday i was told 20 weeks Worked it out as mrc lrm cried my eyes out, waited 16 weeks 1 day. Good luck everyone. X

I’m 17/11, but with a DM for a few weeks now. Waiting for NI number apparently. So could be here a while yet. It’s so long and frustrating. Have I seen you say somewhere that they dont need to generate an NI for your little one? Sorry I get confused who’s said what 😂 xx

We also sent ours in at the end of November and have just received some money in our account. So hopefully you will hear soon.

We are still waiting for the letter to confirm what we qualify for.
