Just rang again they give me different information every time
Scan date 15/12 I sent in extra evidence 18/01 and they are trying to say that is the date that they are calculating weeks! So would be 6 months not 5 months! Just thought I'd share incase anyone has had extra evidence scanned in they will try and say that's your scan date

I think it's 3 working days isn't it? So possibly Monday? I'm not sure but that would be 3wd x

I still haven't rang this week...I really don't want to hear "it's in the holding pile" although I'm stressing because when I did the form it was 3 weeks after I gave birth by emergency c section so was a bit manic, and I forgot to add in about her night time bed wetting and wetting herself at school. 'sake!!!! X

They told me it dosent affect it I’ve sent in 2 lots and they always refer to my scan date as 8/12 but they tell you different things everytime you Ring 🙄

That's so naughty!!! Are they trying to create more work than they can deal with? As if anyone will let that lie, they'd be putting an MR in straight away! X

If there was any order to their chaos people wouldn't call as much would they, they've never mentioned the Christmas period to me 🤦🏻‍♀️ we are in for a much longer wait I reckon 🤣

I’m 12/12 & thinking it could be anytime from now until the summer at this rate!

My payment was issued on Tues 5 March and in bank on Fri 8 March.

I don’t think what the call handlers tell you has any relation to the truth.

I called on Tuesday, spoke to them at 12pm was told it was still in a queue and not with a case manager yet. Two days later, I’ve woken up to a notification saying a payment had gone into my bank account.

So in theory the the decision was made on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday and it’s been paid already 🤷‍♀️

Just got off the phone to them.

the guy said it’s been assigned to a caseworker, but hasn’t been forwarded to a decision maker yet.

With DM for 4 weeks now. I was told on the phone yesterday that the DM was looking at it as we spoke and they would text me by the end of the day. No text. I spoke to them today and this person said oh, no decision yet.
I said what was said to me yesterday and they said they would ring me after they had spoken to the DM. I bet anything that I will get no phone call and no text.
I am just going to wait until April then ask them to close that claim and put a new one in because obviously this is not normal and whoever this DM is has lost my claim or moved away or just doesn't intend to ever approve my claim.

@Amytate i was awarded Tuesday night my payment showing pending for tomorrow if that helps

Don't give up hopefully your decision comes through soon, maybe they are ringing up the school or someone else? If you've put the school down that is I'm guessing he's just slow hopefully it'll come through by the end of the month x

I'm definitely holding out until after 16 weeks atleast because they just tell you a bunch of crap 😂

I wouldn’t give up @Tangerin as if you start a new claim it won’t be backdated. By the time your original claim is approved you should get a good amount in backdated money. That’s providing it’s approved but even if you have to do MR that’s backdated too. I wonder if you can escalate your claim with someone as you’ve been waiting so long.

Yeah this Tuesday, was told it’s still on a queue and I would be looking at the end of April.
