Hopefully 🤞 you get positive news

I did not, the reason was :information from your claim form 😕 nothing else just that, which is ridiculous, why allow you to appeal if they are going to disregard everything you say, appealing should be your chance to argue your point and give more information that you may have missed or didn’t know they required, I’m guessing I didn’t give enough information on my claims form, so they disregarded this information on my appeal.
my sons needs completely fit the criteria and I explained this in more detail when I learned why he was refused, I’m not used to these forms so wish now I got some help with them.

However I am definitely taking it further because waiting 5 months and getting that response is just not good enough, my son definitely meets the criteria so I’m going to keep pushing, iv already sent a complaint to DWP.

I understand your frustration to be honest as Iv been 10 months now and feel like I’m gonna get refused again but I know with the evidence Iv got I will win a court so look at it this way longer you go more you get back for your little one form is stupid plus I had 100 evidence theres no way they have read it all as this is my daughter 1st claim and I never did it when she was younger and she had bowel disease
asd since she was little and undergone a lot but I never claim till now she 11 think is new school they don’t no her like her old one did for 6 years 🤦‍♀️ it’s crazy but if u need help on anything just drop me message thing is I won my dad case with pip year ago that form was mad he ended up at court and I spoken with them and he won but got big payback 30k 😂 lucky but I got McDonald’s out of it 😂😂😂 gotta laugh 😆

Nkj8912 · 05/10/2024 09:06

Thankyou, good luck to you, my mum was awarded low rate on pip she can barely walk, most days she can’t, she is in her mid 60s and has always worked, iv told her to fight the decision, I believe they just fob people off. I agree, I don’t think they look at all the evidence and information you send they more seem to look for ways to discredit you, if they would of given me a more convincing excuse I probably would of given up but I feel like they didn’t even pay any mind to the information I sent in, because their reason for refusal I completely justified, Yes, keep in touch maybe we can help each other threw this long stressful process Xx
P.s
Bet your dad was very happy with that outcome must of been the best McDonald’s you have ever had 😀 x

I am going to take it to tribunal, simply because I am not happy with the useless response I got after 6 months of waiting. Keep me posted and I will you.
McDonald’s is definitely over rated, burgers is definitely better, I more of a kfc girl 😂

Hi everyone, I currently get HRC & LRM for my 15 year old daughter. She has autism, adhd and multiple co occurring conditions. I did a COC for HRM as she's been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and POTS. It was declined on August 29th. So i did a MR over the phone when I received the letter. From reading on here I was expecting it to take up to 25 weeks but last Friday (27th sept) I had a call from a DM asking if i had sent in the reports from the occupational therapist etc - I hadn't as I was still waiting for them so he said he'd make a note on my case to come back in two weeks to look at it. I've since sent reports in but just wondering if MR cases are now being looked at quicker or has anyone else had a decision in less than 6 weeks?

Think it is because you done a change of circumstances that yours being look at faster Mr only taking 21 weeks from what Iv seen little longer if the dm need to contact school or anyone else but mr for new claim are taking 21 weeks

They were! My eldests MR was done in 2 weeks just last year! (In our favour!) went from LRC only for 1 year to MRC & LRM for 6 years until her 12th birthday! 🤯

Now we’ve been waiting longer than a new application which is crazy. I think they do it to put people off in all honesty!

Kc1999x · 09/10/2024 20:14

Yes I remember people saying how quick it was so I assumed it would be the same this time, first I was told 15 weeks then seen everyone saying 25. It’s so long, and I’ll still probably have to go tribunal. Can’t cope😅

AS98 · 10/10/2024 10:55

Just been told we’re with a case manager now… eeeek! How long after it was assigned did you receive a decision? (It was still in queue Tuesday)!

Kc1999x · 10/10/2024 11:26

What date are you if you don’t mind me asking?
