Started this thread to help people pass the time and also communicate time frames and outcomes going through the process of a MR

Has anyone had a phone call from a DM and still be turned down?

Has anyone heard anymore? Wondering what date they’re up to now?

I’m 13th May and still not heard

15 still nothing I did phone up they told me 35 weeks 😣 can’t be surly

Was that new claim or mr

Mr but I had all this with my daughter and she now gets high everything.

Did you have to appeal and go to a tribunal in the end?

Yes I call there is very high demand MR at the moment taking longer then normal 🤦‍♀️ mine hasn’t been look at yet I’m 15 may they said call back 6 November if Iv not heard any news by then 🫣 good luck 🤞 everyone

I’m 13th May! The wait is horrible!

Well I think as we both in the same week one of us should hear some thing soon I keep you posted I think round 15 October but that me guessing 😂 they probably keep it right up till 6 November 🫣 it is long wait silly 🤪

I saw someone who had the MR date of the 13th of May was awarded (in their favour!) on the 30th of September! Maybe worth a chase if you’re on these dates! I’ll call next week (I’m the 20th!)

Mine 15 may and still not been look at I did call they said November unless my daughter didn’t get it and I will go to tribunal

but nothing for the 15 may yet …

well hopefully I hear some think next week for 15 may 😂now I’m scared 😱

SMI, its severely mentally impaired. So my son isn’t a wheelchair user and although he’s physically able, he isn’t mentally able.

it went to a case manager on Monday but there was a delay as they needed to speak to the school! The case manager called me today just to tell me he’s awarding it.

Hi Iv just got call today to see if medication changed which I told them yes plus they ask if they could contact school too which I agree but the problem is she only been there a month ? And they still trying to figure out my daughter needs will this hold things up any longer ?

just to let everyone know that there on 15 may now but I’m still waiting confirmation they just contacting school which I don’t no how long that be 🤦‍♀️ very scared 😱 now Iv gotta wait little longer again 🫣

The same thing happened to me! I had to wait 3 days for them to speak to the school (because the SENCO was busy), but as soon as they spoke to her they made a decision

Did MR around 8 May, called Wednesday said they had made a decision and letter had been sent, couldnt tell me on the phone as it hadnt been updated on the system? Decision made 28th September which was a Saturday (didnt know they worked Saturdays) not holding my hopes, nothing pending in the bank and its been 5 working days. Still awaiting decision letter.

Yep senco always busy at my daughter school more likely another month for me lol 😂 did email him tho told him that they gonna call let hope he take the call but your lucky 3 days I’m now just waiting … again
