Hi all I put a MR in for my son as only awarded low rate mobility no care he is on sleeping tablets and day time medication on his statement it stated he wasn't on any medication for his ADHD which he is probs never read
How do you feel my chances of at winning the MR if I don't win I am taking to tribunal if they had him for week they would understand how difficult he is lol

I don't know if I'm wrong for this opinion but my son has adhd it seems to me that it's still stereotyped as being a naughty boy thing (I have asd and adhd as a 46yo mum) I am in process of complaining to education ofsted and governors because my sons basic needs haven't been met and have been dismissed by senco

Yea same for me luv he has speech delay and being in reading writing spelling he is 2 years behind his peers in school so he has been neglected he is in year 6 starting this September and his subjects are for year 4 and since myself had concerns they are putting him in a smaller group setting with senco teacher and a main teacher was fuming as they only mentioned this after I complained

He's still young kick up a storm, mine is 15 soon and looking at failing evey subject because I have been dismissed when I flag up subject teachers have called me flagging and I've told them to convey to senco but it's not happened

They're not allowed to tell you over the phone anymore, new policy change apparently, only the case managers are allowed. So if one has been made, it'll be over letter.

Received a letter dated on 7th of August and it's absolutely disgusting news!!! I will fight for him no matter what he deserves to be a heard about his special needs at the tribunal court hearings!!!

Omg was it not the answer you should of got ? What did u end up getting in the end ? Xxx so sorry your having to fight for you baby’s needs… it’s not right Xx I’ve just rang told me another 11 days till it’s even looked at yet my weeks are up 😞

They just told me there working on the 17th x

Unfortunately another decline after 36 weeks of the start of this fight for him but on tomorrow I will ring up to stray the tribunal application to go on it.
They haven't changed the decision absolutely disgusting! My impression is that they don't read through thoroughly and carefully all the paperwork provided as an evidence they rushing the decision to meet their timescales and all what they care is about their deadlines and their own budgets not really about these children with additional needs, care 24/7, treatments and therapy etc ..comparing with a child who is blessed with a good health and no Disibility.

They made the decision last Friday, so I would think that today to Wednesday would be the 16th and 17th

Ah thankyou , well let me know how u get on I hope it gets overturned for you just keep sending that paperwork . I’ve seen a lot of rewards be overturned before tribunal . Wishing u and yours the best ! X

I had a phone call from decision makers Thursday not had any news yet, it's a bit of a P take since I am already making a formal complaint to council ofstead and governors about my boys neglect at school.

I was mean, I sent in 9 years worth of evidence highlighted and annotated including several echps, cognitive assessments and paediatric reports.

Wow I’m sure they need to open there eyes . This does not give me much hope 🫣😞 xxx

Honestly? I was annoyed, frustrated and decided that if they wanted to f*ck around they could find out, and was a vindictive cowbag towards them I'm not going to lie. They've avoided giving us the rates he needs for years because he's either not old enough, not impaired enough or just plain old wanna be arses.
