Started this thread to help people pass the time and also communicate time frames and outcomes going through the process of a MR

Any one heard anything with there mr today seems like new claims are getting done around the same time as ours x

I’m waiting for a letter following a MR for LRM for my ASD daughter. I’m assuming it’s a MR decline as they wouldn’t give me any information on the phone and the general consensus on here is that a letter means a decline. I WILL be taking it to a tribunal as they clearly are not getting the point that she literally will not / cannot leave the house. When we do… major meltdowns, tantrums, refusal to walk, panic attacks, tears, etc. public transport is not an option. School trips… not possible. Family trips… I wish! I’ve communicated all this plus sent them copies of all her pastoral school passes she has to leave lessons early so she can navigate the corridors alone. Elevator passes because she won’t use a staircase etc. I’m rambling… I apologise. This is not how I communicated her struggles on my MR form. I was very factual and in depth. Anyway, in the absence of “info on the phone and waiting a letter so likely a decline”…. Does anyone know how long the waiting time is for a tribunal as I will have to go down this route. I’m upset that I have to watch my daughter live the life of a hermit and refuse to leave the house whilst some pen pusher stamps “decline” on our MR form. 😡

What evidence did u have for her mobility ? I don’t know how long tribunals take but definately go for it and any evidence u end up getting send it in I’ve seen a lot get overturned before even getting to tribal ( wich says it all ) I don’t think half of them read all the info . It’s heart breaking I’m so nervous mines due to have a decision by monday and every day feels like a drag . Let us know what your letter says fingers crossed for you Xx

Scrap that. The “letter instead of info on the phone” theory means nothing. The MR was won and payment went into the bank. For anyone reading who was told that they couldn’t be given a decision over the phone and needed to wait for a letter… it does NOT mean a decline. Probably means the person you spoke to couldn’t be arsed. Hope this helps others and good luck with your MR’s xx

@Mummyof3safire the only evidence I sent was a photocopy of one of her school “passes” for leaving lessons early. Everything else was descriptive evidence from me x

Looks like I’ll be ringing Monday as that’s when my 15 weeks are up . Anyone rang today? X

My 15 weeks were up the 29th had a call this morning wanting to know a couple of things.

15th April, my nerves have been on edge for almost a full year it's 11 months from applying now

So I've just finished calling, scan date was the 15th of April, it's with a case manager and I should know by the end of next week.

They rang me, she said she's going to look at the file and should make a decision today. I'm assuming if anything goes in my bank by Monday it's approved

We are waiting still as no calls from the decisions department received yet this week. If no news by tomorrow then I will ring up on Monday as it will be week 17th then. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I rang again yesterday and still not with case manager they put me through to one and he said if I don’t hear something by the end of the month to ring back so frustrating

I’m like a little after you I was going to ring today but feel it’s going to be a waste of time 😞🤦‍♀️ x

I’ve just got of the phone and a they have put it down as urgent so I should hear something by the end of next week

These same here so nerve wrecking 😔
On Monday I was told that someone will come back within 48 hours from the decision department team as it was exactly 16 weeks.
I don't dare to ring today feel like just need to wait for the Monday I when I will ring myself again.
More grey hair I guess but we must fight we must stay strong we got this 💪💪🙌🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞xx
