Hi!
Since I've rang on Monday morning nobody has called me back. The lady from the call centre did say that it usually takes up to 48 hours to someone from the decision team to get back.
Knowing that they not working on those dates this week anyway.. I will wait until the next monday and will ask for an update. It will be 16 weeks o. Monday.

Thank you I really hope so. I've heard that if there is an award that apparently they ring up themselves very often - the case worker.. but if the letter is coming through the post.. then no award unfortunately it means.

It's so so bloody stressful this waiting time worrying for 18 weeks plus another 16 weeks..
I'm on row with SEN at Local Authority already and this is like a topping on the top of everything going on for the past 34 weeks.
My son will not start normal school this September. He will be at home under my care bless him, as he has no where to go and he needs an EHCP urgently to help him thrive and send placement of course.
I really hope that there is a light at the end of this long long tunnel 🙏✨🙏
I hope that you will hear a good news soon too for you baby 🙏🙌❤️xx

BabyZion · 05/08/2024 10:58

I applied for a MR on April 11 and called up today for an update. Apparently a letter has gone out in the post and the “case closed” but that’s all the info she had. What on earth does that mean?

Hello!
It's incredibly hard to get through them today 52 minutes on the line then a lady did pick up and sadly it did disconnected sho. Now on the line again for another 40 minutes to get through the department and they did say that they are working on 15th of the April cases now and that my son's case has not a allocated case manager yet so it's holding a pile still but should not be any longer for a decision to come through.
🙏🤞🤞🙏Xx

LondonMum1989 · 06/08/2024 10:42

Just an update I called yesterday apparently it is with a case manager. MR date 12/04, the person I spoke to said they would email to find out what’s happening and request for someone to call me. I’m going to wait until Friday to hear back if not I’ll call on Friday.

BabyZion · 06/08/2024 13:09

Has anyone had a positive outcome by letter when they weren’t able to see decision on the computer over the phone?

Has anyone had a positive outcome by letter when they weren’t able to see decision on the computer over the phone?

Positive outcomes are usually told over the phone when they say we’ve sent a letter it usually means the original decision is still the same before an MR
