Hello,
Yes sure.
So.. I did rang up 9 days ago and the lady did say that my MR claim is due to expire on 29th of July.
She did told me that it was still holding a pile up and I should call back to enquire if I haven't heard nothing still by 29ty of July.
We will get a decision by end July most definitely I know it will come soon and the wait will be worth it 🙏xx

Any news ? X

Im sure these last weeks are seeming to go slower . I just want to be able to keep my baby safe .. the equipment needed is so overly priced . How do they expect our little ones to be themselves 😞. Xx

Spectrummama · 23/07/2024 10:58

I know it is absolutely indeed so ridiculously expensive every little thing these days now 😩
My 4 year old needs a lot of care 24/7.
Nappies and wipes goes so much through our household and for his constant sensory seeking needs a quite a lot to provide for him to regulate his nervous system and to prevent those horrible meltdowns day in and out.

He is not at the nursery or school at the moment as he is in nappies still and needs feeding at every mealtime, so I care for him 24/7 he needs so much promting.
Also he is not diagnosed yet just suspected ASD and ADHD. So we don't have much that evidence what they asking at the moment whilst on the long pathway since last year.
I did send in what ever I could just to get a beat outcome for him but still I'm worried about going through the tribunal as I'm waiting for another tribunal of educational health care plan to get him that as well.

Also we just did paid 600£ for a private OT assessment to help him and get more evidence as well and on the fight for his EHCP as well.
It's so so hard but I know we will get there one day I can see that he will get what he deserves.

It definitely feels like an ages for us parents to be heard about our daily struggles and get that vital support what our babies deserves 🙏🙌
Hopefully you will hear very soon bless you guys 🙏xx

Been told still nothing, they're not even sure it's been recieved by the decision maker yet, if I've heard nothing by Tuesday to ring up then and they'll see what's taking so long

MR date 30/04/2024

Just parking 🫶🏼

Also just to give some hope - this claim is for my son - but my daughter (12) is autistic and was originally awarded LRC, declined at mandatory reconsideration so appealed and before it got to tribunal they awarded HRC. I then did a COC and was also awarded HRM last November until she’s 16.

Always keep on at them for what your babes deserve x

I was 15 weeks on Friday. I haven’t heard anything so I called this morning and was told they are still behind and 15 weeks is just a ballpark figure, which is ridiculous. I’m going to call again tomorrow when I have time and complain as the lady said it could still be a few weeks.

Queenofthestress · 29/07/2024 16:22

I've rang, complained and have a case manager meant to be ringing me back tomorrow to discuss why it's not been done yet.

This is getting so tiering isn’t it I’m a week behind you , I feel your frustration x

Hello ladies,
I did ring up this morning as well as it has a 15 weeks deadline on today.
Still holding up a pile and not hone to the decision maker.
So embarrassing. They put me down for a call back in next 48 hours.
I feel like I will be up all night because of this. So frustrating absolutely nerve wrecking because fighting for my boy who deserves the help and support what he is entitled for!
