Started this thread to help people pass the time and also communicate time frames and outcomes going through the process of a MR

Hi! Has anyone had any updates? I called Friday and got put through to the disputes team, still on DM pile waiting to be looked at! They said I should have a decision by this week, MR on 20/2!

I havent had a further update from the text message a week ago saying a decision could take 4 more weeks, my mr date is 04/03 which ties in with what youve been told x

I had a call from MR Tuesday. On Saturday i had a letter and the monday in my account. Got back pay since last year. And got standard xx good luck to you all x

Hi all… Update… they have changed the award from LRC to MRC and LRM! I’m very happy for this result! All the very best to you all… I hope your little ones get the awards they need and deserve x

so when you get your back payment. Do they pay you 4 weeks after that? X

I’ve had back payment, no letter yet, so I think it will be 4 weeks time on a Tuesday x

Anyone had any updates? I rang today, 13 weeks but still nothing 🤷‍♀️ xx

I'm 13 weeks on Monday, I haven't rung but I'm not expecting to hear until next week or the week after, someone mentioned this week that they are working on MR's from end of Feb. x

Nothing here. I think im on week 9. Had a letter 2 weeks ago saying 15 weeks

Yeah I was told it's likely going to be another week. It's just so annoying waiting, I was originally told 6 weeks 😂 so much for that. Xx

@SLB90 I was originally told 8 weeks too. I get the impression they dont know themselves x

Hi all ive been following this thread for some time but not commented. I put in an MR at the end of Feb and had a call last week asking me to send evidence. Sent off my evidence a few days ago. Fingers crossed. Will keep you all posted whatever the outcome.

MR date 5/03/24 decision over turned 28/05 from mr to hr care

Congratulations! Some of the reasons they give for awarding lower are laughable, it's not surprising that MR change the award!
Mine was 6/3 so 🤞🏻 I hear this week.

I had a back payment in the bank last Tuesday and received letter Friday telling me of the change originally sent forms off January 4th mr 5th March awarded may 28th

Rang up today and no luck so far 🙄 clearly too hopeful 😂

Hi all, I’m so confused with the process! My child was awarded MRC in March, I did the MR as care needs are extremely high, day and night. I had a sms stating it’ll take 4 weeks, a letter stating it’ll be 11 weeks and now I’ve been informed it’ll be around 15 weeks.
Ive not sent any further evidence as it’s irrelevant to the reconsideration but what are the success rates of MR’s?
Also, how long are we realistically looking at for the MR’s. Thank you x

@Lu2024 I'm at 13 weeks at the moment, I believe they are taking 15 weeks

I was same mr care in March done the mr over phone on 5th March was told 6 weeks then got a letter saying 11 weeks then another saying 15 weeks then received back payment on 28th may award was changed to hrc so took 12 weeks hope you hear soon & you get what your child deserves

I’m on week 14, rang yesterday and got told to ring back at the end of next week when it’s at week 15.
