Started this thread to help people pass the time and also communicate time frames and outcomes going through the process of a MR

Hi all

I’ve just checked in with them now ref my MR and we’ve been awarded MRC (previous award was LRC) so we are happy with that

my son is now just over 3 and a half and suspected ADHD / FASD lots of evidence from nursery and the private consultant we saw - it’s been a battle

good luck everyone

Sarahdestiny · 03/05/2024 10:44

LancsMcG · 03/05/2024 11:03

Scan date for MR was 19/02 they did say they working on 15th but I phoned last week and asked if there was chance of it being looked at sooner

Sarahdestiny · 03/05/2024 11:06

LoudBee · 07/05/2024 07:51

11 weeks today and still no news, is it worth giving them a call today? Or does that annoy them?

We’re 11 weeks too today was your scan 27th February I rang up two weeks ago today and was told it’s in a pile

LoudBee · 07/05/2024 08:26

Mine was on the 20th feb, I have not called since I wanted to ask if they had got the additional information, so maybe it’s worth a call?

Jonesy0102 · 07/05/2024 10:27

Just spent over an hour on the phone was then put though to disputes team amd it cut off 🙄

Sarahdestiny · 07/05/2024 11:21

I'm dying to ring but gonna try leave it til Thursday atleast no pending payments so either declined or still in a pile 😅

Sarahdestiny · 07/05/2024 11:32

Do they even work bank holiday Mondays if not doubt will be any decision until next few days

LoudBee · 07/05/2024 12:14

I called, it took over an hour to get through which wasn’t ideal, but they were very kind and helpful, they said my daughters is with the DM pile, and they are dealing from the 15th and give it another 2 weeks. So fingers crossed to all waiting

Is that 15th February, they're currently on? I think we're around, 13th march

Sarahdestiny · 07/05/2024 15:16

I caved in and rang said mine still not assigned to anyone but are currently working on my date so they sent a email to escalate it as should have decision anyway now 16/2 fingers 🤞

SLB90 · 07/05/2024 16:25

I've just been on hold for 35 minutes before it just cut out 😔I'm guessing it wouldn't of been processed yet from what I've seen in this thread, my MR was accepted 06/03. It's just so infuriating when you hold for so long just to be cut off, it sounded as though someone had picked up but then just went off. This whole process is so stressful!

Thank you my son is only 3 I am only just writing the appeal for mobility as I do believe he should be entitled to the HRM component as he is severely delayed has no sense of danger what so ever he does pose a risk as he harms himself & others even strangers but we don’t yet have a diagnoses we recieve HRC for suspected ASD only got awarded in march this year but all the speech and language reports and pediatrition reports state extreme delayed over 12-15 months delay I would say that that alone should qualify for HRM as it shows their is some intellectble disability also has no sense of danger and opens pram straps and reins and will run into oncoming traffic he even bites and hits strangers if they come near him and is extremely violent to staff at school and has refusal to walk as well and makes himself become floppy xx

Also just had a nosey thru the thread it’s been a while since I started it so I haven’t kept up as I originally got my decision I just did the thread for everyone who had started an MR , since I started mine today fighting for HRM under SMI as well wondering if you’ve heard anything from tribunal as I read you’ve taken it to that now and also when did you first file the MR for mobility they’ve told me it will be an 8 week wait but I’ve seen people waiting longer x
